Posted January 9, 200817 yr comment_5426682 Mr Helo + Mr Shima v. Mark Starr + Billy Travis Not much of a match, more of a backdrop for Tojo insulting Tony Burton's waterhead retarded baby and Burton coming out and hitting him with a kendo stick Jeff Jarett v. Moondog Spot They show clips of the fun MSC brawl between the two, and Downtown Bruno taunts Jeff into putting up the belt again, they have a fun short match with Spot getting a bone shot for the win. Some nice brawling here but nothing special Jerry Lawler + Bill Dundee v. Jack Hart + Chick Donovan Paul E. comes out and offers Dundee a credit card to join his stable, Dundee and Lawler steal the Visa and strip Dangerously. He comes back out wearing a towel, and Dundee and Lawler make quick work of Donovan and Hart. Dundee looked awesome here, but this was 3 minutes long
May 4, 200817 yr comment_5431039 Tony Burton comes out talking about beating on Tojo Yamamoto. (5/30/87) Mark Starr & Billy Travis vs. Mr. Helo (Kodo Fuyuki) & Mr. Shima (Akio Sato) (5/30/87) Tojo talks shit on Burton throughout the match baiting him to come out to attack him, which he does forcing the Japanese to leave the ring and this turns into a wild brawl with both teams being counted out. Next we get clips of Jarrett/Spot from MSC on 5/25/87 where they brawl all over the arena. Mid-America Heavyweight Title: Jeff Jarrett © vs. Moondog Spot (5/30/87) Bruno & Spot come out before the match challenging Jeff to a title match and he agrees. Jeff comes out blazing just pounding on Spot even using a steel chair but Spot would take him to the floor where he would start beating on Jeff throwing him into the ringpost. They would trade the advantage both in and out of the ring with it turning into a slugfest. Jeff would hit a dropkick on Spot but Bruno would run in to distract him so Spot could get his bone but Jarrett gave him a back drop. Spot would knock Calhoun out to the floor then used the bone to KO Jarrett with Bruno rolling Calhoun back in the ring to make the count. Jarrett wants a rematch but it can’t happen. Fun stuff. Paul E. comes out complaining that Memphis has turned into a circus, which is funny considering his future. Paul then invites Bill Dundee out saying that he shares the beliefs of him, Idol, & Rich hating Lawler and offers him full use of his credit card for 30 days, which Bill takes. Lawler then shows up and they strip Paul of his pants. Definite extra material. “Superstar” Bill Dundee & Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. “Golden Boy” Chick Donovan & “Stretcher” Jack Hart (5/30/87) Paul comes back out wrapped in a towel. Dundee was shootin punches out in bunches and this was fun while it lasted. Then they show highlights of why Bubba & Goliath left Downtown Bruno.
