Disc 1

Interviews: Stagger Lee (Koko; Fabulous Ones; Jimmy Hart & Moondogs; Bill Dundee

Clip of Dundee beatin Terry Taylor

INterviews: Terry Taylor; Stagger Lee; Fabulous Ones

Jerry Lawler vs. Bobby Eaton

- There is a ref bump about 2 minutes in and this allows Eaton to cheat to get control. Pretty entertaining match where Eaton just manhandles Lawler most of the way including a nice shot with Hart's cane. Still, we only get about 4 minutes of a 13 minute match.

Interviews: Bill Dundee; Moondogs, Jimmy Art and Jim Cornette

Fabulous Ones vs. Dream Machine & Bobby Eaton (JIP)

- Pretty fun while it lasted but we don't get lot of time in this.

Jesse Barr & Jim Cornette vs. Koko Ware & Jimmy Hart

- Another fun, short match.

Interviews: RNR Express; Dutch Mantel

Jerry Lawler vs. Sugar & Hart

- Quick Clip

Bill Dundee Interview

Bobby Eaton vs. Stagger Lee

- THis was kind of wierd, like the Lawler match, Eaton is squashing Lee but this doesn't pick up until the end. Match ends when Jimmy Hart and Porkchop Cash interfere and get the DQ.

Interview: Dutch Mantel; Bill Dundee; Jim Cornette; The Moondogs

Fabulous Ones vs. Moondogs

- I really enjoyed this one. There wasn't much from a wrestling standpoint but the Fabs through some nice punches and the Dogs were laying in with some nice headbutts. This match was mainly a bunch of punching and kicking with Stan Lane playing face in peril. When Keirn comes in, he cleans house with some nice punches and even plays rough, biting the forehead of one of the Dogs. In the end, Keirn gets laid out with a bone and the Dogs get the win. This was pretty fun. I don't think it would have made it onto the Mid South set but it still deserves some consideration and a nomination.

Stagger Lee vs. Stan Frasier

- This is JIP and not much of a match until Bobby Eaton comes in and helps Frasier win the match. However, the decision is reversed and Lee keeps the title.

Bill Dundee vs. Terry Taylor

-Decent match with a shitty finish.

Grapplers Interview; Jimmy Hart Interview

The Grapplers, Dream Machine & Porkchop Cash vs. RNR Express, Terry Taylor & Stagger Lee

- This was mainly a Ricky Morton face in peril segment before a brawl breaks out and Morton gets a rollup pin for the win.

Fabulous Ones vs. Eaton, Myers & Jimmy Hart

- I couldn't get into this one.

They go over Bill Dundee turning heel winning the Southern title from Terry Taylor with promos and a video.

International Heavyweight Title: Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton (3/28/83)

Clipped up from MSC but a very fun match.

Already seen the Fabs vs. Dream/Eaton match.

Jesse Barr & Jim Cornette vs. Sweet Brown Sugar & Jimmy Hart (11/29/82)

Fun little match.

Handicap: Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Sweet Brown Sugar & Jimmy Hart (11/22/82)

Clipped but fun.

Mid-America Heavyweight Title: “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton © vs. Stagger Lee (3/7/83)

Stagger starts this off by just whipping Eaton’s ass but that would change when Eaton nailed him with a steel chair. Eaton worked over Stagger pretty good although the masked man fought back when he could. Stagger got the advantage back by turning it into a slugfest but a collision of heads made it even although Hart threw Eaton a chain which he used on Stagger but Stagger hit him square with a dropkick to win the match. Mad Dog Boyd jumped Stagger and the Family tried to take off his mask but Lawler would make the save by throwing some awesome punches with Stagger throwing some of his own. I really liked this match a lot and I’m putting it on the block.

Southern Tag Titles: The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) © vs. The Moondogs (Rex & Spot) (4/4/83)

This is nothing but a fight with both teams looking really solid in their brawling especially the Fabs who were throwing bombs. Lane took a beating as the FIP but got the hot tag to Keirn who started cleaning house before the bone came into play as Spotty whacked him from behind and Rex covered him for the pinfall to win the titles. This is a low-end nomination but it’s good enough to be on the block.

Mask & Mid-America Heavyweight Title vs. $1,000: Stagger Lee © vs. Stan Frazier (4/4/83)

JIP from MSC and Lee retains his title as Eaton’s interference costs his stablemate the match.

Southern Heavyweight Title w/2 referees: “Superstar” Bill Dundee © vs. Terry Taylor (4/4/83)

There are two refs to make sure everything is on the up and up for this match. Dundee has started his heel turn and he is really vicious here but Taylor shows a mean streak as well and hangs with the little Aussie. Dundee whines about Calhoun protecting Taylor so he eats a great right hand to the face by Taylor then plays a great chickenshit heel begging and stooging. Dundee would catch Taylor coming through the ropes and popped him but Taylor’s foot would get hooked in the ropes so Dundee just started beating the hell out of him for the DQ. Dutch would come out and threw Dundee off of Taylor for the save. The work during the match was very solid but the finish was blah although it doesn’t change my mind of it being a nomination.

Nashville local news does a feature on Memphis and this is a definite extra.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton), Stagger Lee, & Terry Taylor vs. The Bruise Brothers (Dream Machine & Porkchop Cash) & The Grapplers (Tony Anthony & Len Denton) (6/6/83)

This is a true test on how deep the Memphis roster used to be during this era. Everyone got their chance early on but it wasn’t long before Morton was getting his ass kicked by all of the heels. It would break down into an 8-man brawl with Morton getting the dupe. Short but fun.

Handicap Match: The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) vs. “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, Duke Myers, & Jimmy Hart (6/6/83)

JIP from MSC and an okay match.

Lawler cuts a promo about the LLT match with Dundee that must go on with that match.
