Posted January 12, 200817 yr comment_5426954 Some fun stuff here, as you have Fuller forming the Stud Stable, and getting into it with Jeff Jarrett and Tojo Yammammoto and the Great Senshe. Man am I loving all of this Robert Fuller. You also have Curt Henning come out and beat up a Toyoto dealer, wreck the studio and choke Lance Russell which could be an extra. No matches of not although I enjoyed Don Bass + Gary Young v. Billy Travis and Scott Steiner, and Fuller + Golden v. Harris brothers is worth seeing just for 88 Harris's being tall skinny guys with blond curly mullets and light blue trunks. They basically looked like a pair of tall Billy Travis's and wrestled as undercard blowjob babyfaces.
May 6, 200817 yr comment_5431103 Jerry Jarrett opens the show saying that they will have a 3-ring battle royal for Renegade points at the arenas as well as 3 matches going on at the same time. (5/21/88) Scott Steiner & Billy Travis form a team and cut a promo. Scott Steiner & Billy Travis vs. Rough & Ready (5/21/88) The Cubans would run in for the DQ. Max Pain cuts a taped promo about winning the Renegades tourney. Lance then interviews Jeff Jarrett about it. Robert Fuller vs. Doug Dancing (5/21/88) Squash. Fuller would cut a promo on Jarrett & Lawler after the match. Jarrett would come out for a confrontation. Tom Brandi & Jeff Jarrett vs. The Cuban Choir Boys (5/21/88) Fuller would come out breaking a bottle over Jeff’s head for the DQ to end the first fall. Travis subbed in the 2nd one and Scott Steiner had to help out. Gary Young & Brickhouse are asked next about the Renegades tourney. Senshi vs. Alan Reynolds (5/28/88) Senshi is managed by Tojo Yamamoto. Fuller comes out for a promo with Lance where he introduces Sylvia for the first time and the Stud Stable is born in Memphis as Jimmy Golden & Gary Young come out but tries to recruit Senshi & Tojo and that doesn’t work out so well leading to some great slant eyed remarks. Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden vs. The Bruise Brothers (Don & Ron Harris) (5/28/88) Fun little match with Fuller & Golden looking great. Jeff Jarrett vs. Keith Eric (5/28/88) Jarrett wins and Sylvia talks shit to him after the match leading to Fuller, Golden, & Sylvia taking shots at him. Tojo comes out and Sylvia attacks him with the kendo stick and Senshi attacks Fuller & Golden. Max Pain does an interview from a hot tub where he is rehabbing his injured knee thanks to Brickhouse Brown & Cuban Assassins and he vows revenge then comes out for a live interview on crutches. Brick comes out of course and takes the crutches away poking him with them then throwing them away. Brick then sucker punches him and Eddie Marlin threatened to fire him. Cuban Assassins vs. Doug Dancing & Tommy King (5/28/88) Squash. Scott Steiner & Billy Travis vs. Don Bass & Gary Young (5/28/88) I love seeing Boss Winter with actual name guys. This was actually a pretty good match as Travis played FIP took a pounding then tagged Steiner who came in cleaning house but was chunked over the top rope by Bass for the DQ. Fun while it lasted.
