Bruiser Brody vs. Tim Hudson (1/29/83) Squash. “Nature Boy” Ric Flair vs. John King (1/29/83) Once again Flair puts on a clinic. “Precious” Paul Ellering vs. John Ledberry (1/29/83) Squash. They show highlights from the Reed/Buzz steel cage match from the Omni on Christmas night but the part where Buzz gets his head shaved is gone because Buzz cut up the footage. That is great. “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. John King (2/5/83) Buzz wins in seconds with a awesome German Suplex. “Hacksaw” Butch Reed vs. “The Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff (2/5/83) This is JIP and had some really good action until Super Destroyer & Buzz Sawyer ran in for the DQ. Koloff drops the knee on Reed’s ribs off the top rope until the babyface locker room clears the ring. Great stuff. Bruiser Brody vs. Mike Starbuck (2/5/83) Squash. Bruiser Brody vs. John King (2/5/83) Squash and Bob Roop is on commentary. “The Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff & “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. Mike Hartness & Mike Jackson (2/5/83) Sawyer is insane here after being fined $2,500 for tearing up the tape. Bob Roop vs. Mike Jackson (2/12/83) Jackson goes for a headscissors near the counter so Roop drops him neck first on the top rope in a great spot. Roop wins this easily with a wicked shoulderbreaker. They show highlights of Murdoch swinging the Iranian clubs at the Omni from 2/6/83 that ended up being a brawl with Murdoch against Sheik & Super D then the actual match between Murdoch & Super D. “The Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff & “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. Brad Armstrong & Pat Rose (2/12/83) Really fun stuff when Armstrong was in the ring and Rose did okay as well but the word jobber was written all across his face. Koloff & Sawyer looked great and win fairly easily. Iron Sheik vs. Mike Starbuck (2/12/83) Squash. Homer O’Dell makes his debut on commentary here as he has taken over Sheik & Koloff from Sonny King. “Precious” Paul Ellering vs. Bob Owens (2/12/83) Squash. Masked Superstar & Super Destroyer vs. Randy Barber & Tom Prichard (2/12/83) Superstar & Super D fucking ruled as team. Iron Sheik vs. Pat Rose (2/12/83) Squash.
