Jerry Lawler + Dusty Rhodes + Magnum T.A. v. Ole Anderson + Arn Anderson + Tully Blanchard 11/18/85

Not very long, but pretty fun. This was your basic NWA style bunkhouse match. All six guys brawl for a bit, some blood and Dusty hits a top rope bionic elbow. I liked this, but it is pretty standard NWA shit. I am going to nominate it

Ric Flair v. Koko Ware 11/18/85

This may be my favorite non Lawler Memphis match. Flair is great obviously, but Koko is so awesome in this, landing great punches and firing up the crowd. Basically all bumps and punches, but I also loved all of Kokos takedown escapes. Cheap ending, but it is a Flair match. Slamdunk

This disc had dicey VQ, so we might want to see if this stuff is on other tapes.

I made the DVD from an old EP dub of Dan's VHS copy (from a pre-DVD recorder era trade), I dunno if he still has his VHS to try to upgrade from (when he was dumping his VHS, it wasn't on the list as far as I can remember).

Charles Warburton has an original and I could try to get it from him in the small trade he wants to do, but I'd rather go for stuff we don't have at all, since he has the best selection of Memphis Arena stuff. If we get the Cornette stuff, it could be easy trade bait to then get a lot of stuff from Charles because he's been looking for good copies of that stuff forever. Actually I should go post his list in Collection Data so we can figure that out...

Oh, and it's over a decade past eligibility, but watch Lawler-Travis on the same DVD.

Yeah, I'm somewhat torn.

I feel like we can wait to check with Dan, and since we'll be holding off to some degree anyway until we get the Cornette stuff, which Charles would want, that I should use a smaller trade now to get stuff we don't have. Of course, if I have trouble deciding, maybe I'll just include that one. We'll see what I can find.

What from '84-'87 that may have aired on the Arena TV (that Friedlander doesn't have) should we look for first, anyway? (Answer that in the Warburton thread...)

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. Tarras Bulba & Rip Morgan (11/19/85)

This is from Louisville and the Fants jump all the Sheeps plus Dundee at the bell as they were singing Waltzing Matilda pinning Bulba in 27 seconds.

Next we get the Wendell Cooley video from Mid-South for Rick Casey.

“Dirty” Dutch Mantell vs. Jim Jameson (11/16/85)

Squash.

Then we get clips of the Eddie Marlin/Tom Renesto feud which is fun stuff.

Bunkhouse Match: America’s Team (“American Dream” Dusty Rhodes & Magnum TA) & Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Tully Blanchard & The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Arn & Ole Anderson) (11/18/85)

This is great stuff as I loved seeing the JCP guys working with Lawler and this was a great bloody brawl.

Then it’s Flair vs. Koko and I’ve already seen that.
