Posted January 15, 200817 yr comment_5427127 Not very long, but pretty fun. This was your basic NWA style bunkhouse match. All six guys brawl for a bit, some blood and Dusty hits a top rope bionic elbow. I liked this, but it is pretty standard NWA shit. I am going to nominate it
March 7, 200817 yr comment_5429084 Phil, what disc is this on? I don't think I have this match... at least I don't remember seeing this.
March 7, 200817 yr comment_5429085 2543.Memphis Arena TV 11/30/85 & Lawler vs Travis (7/26/02 NGW) Correct airdate is 12/1 and I should be getting an upgrade from Warburton (and thus an even better Flair-Ware than the Bob comp. version too).
April 25, 200817 yr comment_5430892 Bunkhouse Match: America’s Team (“American Dream” Dusty Rhodes & Magnum TA) & Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Tully Blanchard & The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Arn & Ole Anderson) (11/18/85) This is great stuff as I loved seeing the JCP guys working with Lawler and this was a great bloody brawl.
July 5, 200817 yr comment_5432683 This was short and sweet. I liked it. It should go forward. Lawler vs. The Horseman is a dream match up.
July 28, 200817 yr comment_5433326 - I watched this from the same disc with Lawler-Travis ’02. Is this the best copy we have? What about Flair-Koko? Fuck Ole Anderson. It wasn’t until Lawler got away from Ole that Lawler really came alive in this match as Ole has him tangled up in the ropes early on. Then later on, when all the heels should have been feeding Lawler, Ole is the only one who can’t sell. At least he took the fall. There was enough violence in this to move forward but if it falls off, I won’t be upset… mainly due to Ole.
July 28, 200817 yr comment_5433338 I sent the upgraded copy of this show to Phil. It also has Flair-Ware but the Barnett copy of that may actually be better.
