I'm not quite as high on this as Phil is, but it's still a great match and an easy nomination. I loved Flair's head movement selling the punches. While the finish was cheap, the knee actually looked nasty enough to be a knockout, which doesn't usually happen with that spot. And holy crap is Lance Russell great on PBP here.

Ric Flair vs. Koko Ware

This is for the NWA title. Koko got the shot at the belt with a win over Dundee. The American Dream is in the corner of Ware. Wareis just cranking on the headlock. Rhodes was great working ringside. Ware's punches were great. The crowd is super charged for Ware. Flair was tremendous at giving Koko some great nearfalls which the crowd ate up. Flair was a master at working that arm. Flair is textbook anihilating Ware's arm. Ware's chops were weak though. He should have stuck with the punches. It looks like Ware is shitcanning the arm work. I liked the false finishes down the stretch. The crowd bought them. This was a great match. I thought Flair was incredible here. Ware was really good also. I had some minor problems with the match, but overall I loved it.
