Ron Garvin & Barry Windham vs. Dick Murdoch & Ivan Koloff (6:25)(5:42)(7:32) (19:39) (w/ post-interview)

- Murdoch rules. Seriously, he has Garvin and just mouths off the entire time which is entertaining in itself. Koloff and Dick take turns working the neck lock which doesn't seem that interesting (besides Murdoch's jawing) but makes sense if the goal is to setup for the brainbuster. When the heels take over on Windham, it is much more interesting with Murdoch just laying in the kicks and punches. After about ten minutes, the match picks up with Windham and Murdoch going to town on each other. Great visual of Murdoch missing a punch but the last 8 minutes or so is just back and forth MOVES with Murdoch going to the top with the driving knee, Barry crotching Ivan on the top rope and capitalizing with a leg drop to the groin and Windham hitting his big clothesline finisher. Some shenanigans as hell breaks loose, Petrov tries to interfere but as the ref is taking him out, Cornette and Eaton come out of nowhere, pop Garvin on the head with the racquet and Dick & Ivan are the champs! The post match interview is great and needs to be included. Definitew nomination and one of my favorite studio matches.

D1

Ron Garvin & Barry Windham vs. Dick Murdoch & Ivan Koloff

This seems like a solid nomination. Both heels are on the same page and focus on Garvin's neck. They tease a couple of near tags. Murdoch 's standing front facelock looks painful. They hot tag to Windham though he gets cut off and he starts trading moves with the heels. The heels have great heel psychology. The crowd uchhants traitor at Dick. The hope spots they give Barry are great. The heel offense is perfect. Barry's FIP is pretty choice. We build to the finish to ad more heat to the MX. Man Murdoch and Koloff were a great team

World Championship Wrestling 3/14/87

Ronnie Garvin & Barry Windham come out to start the show talking about their US Tag Titles defense later on that day against Ivan Koloff & Dick Murdoch.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Randy Barber (3/14/87)

Garvin wins easily with the Brainbuster.

The Super Powers are out next for a promo with Nikita talking about his upcoming matches against Arn, Ivan, Petrov, and the Crockett Cup which they will win. Dusty then shouts out Boston and Larry Bird saying he is coming to Boston Garden for Big Bubba Rogers.

Next we get clips from the 3/14 episode of World Wide where Ole Anderson & Big Bubba Rogers had a brawl.

The Barbarian vs. Zane Smith (3/14/87)

Barbarian wrecks this guy with a Tombstone Piledriver and diving headbutt.

Then we get Francis Crockett talking about Baltimore.

US Tag Titles: "Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin & Barry Windham © vs. "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & "Capt. Redneck" Dick Murdoch (3/14/87)

I loved Ivan giving Garvin a taste of his own medicine early on just peppering him with shots. The story of the match early on is the heels isolated Garvin and just worked him over hard for a while until he finally tagged in Windham who was a house of fire until Ivan caught him in the neck and the heels then started controlling him. Murdoch was throwing some awesome punches throughout this match which I have to note. The battle would go to the floor where Windham bashed Murdoch's head into the table and Garvin started chopping Ivan before it went back to the ring where Windham got a very close nearfall on a sunset flip on Murdoch. Windham would go back to work FIP though and he was very good here selling everything the heels had for him. Garvin gets the hot tag and he cleans house KOing IVan with his right hand but Murdoch stops him from pinning them then Garvin KO's Petrov. Bobby Eaton then comes out and bashes Garvin over the head with the tennis racquet and Koloff covers to win. The new champs cut a promo afterwards. This was a helluva match and an easy nomination.

Cornette and his boys come out next and Cornette acts like he didn't know what just happened then he comes out and rips up the Garvin's and Precious where he brings out dog treats for her dinner. This is awesome and extra material.

Brad Armstrong vs. El Lobo (3/14/87)

Another strong showing for Brad and we get a fun promo with Bullet Bob & Brad afterwards.

Then we get a fantastic promo from Ole about why the Horsemen fell apart from the 3/14 NWA Pro show. Definite extra material.

Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, & "Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Alan Martin, Bill Mulkey, & Larry Stevens (3/14/87)

The Horsemen are dominant here and Dillon promises a major announcement later on in the show.

Arn, Tully, & Dillon are out next where Arn talks about Ole and he said that Tully & Dillon is his real family as Ole turned his back on him. Arn then said his mind is on Nikita's US Heavyweight Title. Dillon then said that Arn's partner at the Crockett Cup would be Kevin Sullivan.

Lazer-Tron vs. Tommy Angel (3/14/87)

Lazer-Tron now has his full gear and he looks good here.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Mike Jackson & John Todd (3/14/87)

Cornette was amazing on commentary here as his boys were amazing in the ring.

RnR Express are out next for a promo talking about Ragin & Ravishing and the Crockett Cup. Morton takes a shot at the WWF as well talking about they don't need movie stars or rock stars to hang with them.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Darrell Dalton & Randy Mulkey (3/14/87)

Easy win for the RnR.

Luger & Dillon are out next and Dillon makes it official that Luger is the newest member of The Four Horsemen. Luger getting lost in his promo because the fans chant for Ole is funny. Definite extra.

NWA Pro Wrestling 3/21/87

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Mark Fleming (3/17/87)

Garvin wins quickly with the Brainbuster and joins Ronnie for a promo afterwards where they talk about how they are gunning for the Crockett Cup.

World Wide Wrestling 3/21/87

Ric Flair joins Bob Caudle talking about facing Barry Windham at the Crockett Cup and how they will overshadow everything else on the show.

The Super Powers then join Bob Caudle talking about how they are going to win the Crockett Cup.

"White Lightning" Tim Horner vs. Vernon Deaton (3/17/87)

Good win for Horner.

The Garvins then join Bob Caudle talking about the Crockett Cup and they are coming for the MX.

Cornette and his boys join Bob Caudle next and Bob calls Cornette "Jim Crockett" which was hilarious after Cornette went off on him.

Jimmy & Ronnie Garvin, & Barry Windham vs. John Savage & The Thunderfeet (3/17/87)

Fun seeing the Garvins & Windham team up together and they get rid of these guys fairly quickly.

Next we get promos from Nikita & Morton for the Crockett Cup.

Baron & Wahoo join Bob Caudle for a promo next talking about the Crockett Cup with Baron looking like he would've fit in with Jean Reno & Robert DeNiro in Ronin.

Lazer-Tron vs. Rocky King (3/17/87)

This is a competitive match and Denny Brown even cuts a promo during the match which was something.

Ricky Morton then joins Caudle next talking about the Crockett Cup and how the RnR is coming for the cup and the cash.

World Championship Wrestling 3/21/87

This starts with Dillon talking about the current issues between the Horsemen & Ole saying that the Horsemen are now better than ever without Ole and with Luger. Then we get clips of Ole & Arn brawling with each other on the 3/21 NWA Pro show. Flair would then come out talking about his history with Ole and why it fell apart. Flair is amazing here. This is a definite extra.

Arn Anderson & "Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Tommy Angel & Larry Stevens (3/15/87)

The Horsemen are pumped after the Flair promo and steamroll these guys.

Brad Armstrong vs. Paul Garner (3/15/87)

Brad has excelled in the TV matches and this was no different.

Tully & Dillon are out next ripping on Ole again talking about his family being embarrassed by him. This is good stuff. Extra material.

Jim Crockett is out next where he announces that Ole Anderson will face Big Bubba Rogers in a Steel Cage on the first night of the Crockett Cup.

"White Lightning" Tim Horner vs. El Lobo (3/15/87)

Good showing for Tim here and he cuts a promo after the match saying that he & Rotundo are coming for the Crockett Cup.

Nikita is out next for a promo calling out all the Horsemen.

Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. Randy Barber (3/15/87)

Chief handles his business here.

"Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Dexter Westcott (3/15/87)

Mr. Torture is in prime form here just beating the piss out of Wescott then stretching him like pretzel.

Cornette & Eaton comes out next for a promo with Cornette wearing a wig and a boa mocking Garvin with a poster of a fat woman to resemble Precious and this is an insane promo. Extra material.

Cornette then comes back out sending a warning to Ole Anderson that Bubba will end him in a Steel Cage.

"Beautiful" Bobby Eaton vs. Alan Fox (3/15/87)

Condrey has been no-showing at times and this was one of those times. Eaton toys around with Fox before finally putting him away.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Darrell Dalton & Zane Smith (3/15/87)

RnR still looking good here.

Luger & Dillon is out next for a promo where Luger talks about how great he is and how the women are coming to shows more often now that he is here. Luger said that Space Mountain is great but he is that much better.

RnR Express are out next for a promo talking again about winning the Crockett Cup and getting their titles back.

Barry Windham vs. Bill Tabb (3/15/87)

Windham gets another good win.

The Four Horsemen are out next en masse with Arn talking about Ole and he is amazing here. Extra material.

World Wide Wrestling 3/28/87

This starts with Ole talking about how he trained and cultivated all the Horsemen and he said that now the teacher is coming to take out all the students. Really good stuff and extra material.

RnR joins Bob Caudle next talking about the Crockett Cup.

Then we get a promo from Morton for the 4/4 show in Boston.

Flair joins Bob Caudle next talking about how Ole doesn't really want a match against Flair because Ole is scared to be anything but a second fiddle.

Ragin & Ravishing (Manny Fernandez & Rick Rude) vs. Rocky King & George South (3/24/87)

This is a total squash.

Next we get promos from Tully, Arn from the 4/4 show in Boston.

Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard & "Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Johnny Ace, Italian Stallion, & Ricky Lee Jones (3/24/87)

Ric Flair does commentary for this with Tony & Bob Caudle and the Horsemen are dominating before Ole runs out and attacks Flair stripping him of his clothes then leaving before the Horsemen could get him. Flair then goes apeshit saying that everything they did in the past will be nothing like what they do to Ole. Slam Dunk Extra.

World Championship Wrestling 3/28/87

The Rock & Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Chance McQuade & Bill Tabb (3/28/87)

Squash then a promo afterwards.

Cornette comes out with Bubba next talking about Bubba's enemies.

"Beautiful" Bobby Eaton vs. Vernon Deaton (3/28/87)

Squash and the best part about this match is Tony announcing the birth of Kenny Bolin's son which prompts Corny to say that he will grow up to be a juvenile delinquent like his father....awesome.

Next we get clips of Ole attacking Flair as he was doing commentary on the 3/28 episode World Wide. Flair is insane afterwards...definite extra.

Ole is out next for a live promo which was fun.

Ole Anderson vs. Kent Glover (3/28/87)

Ole just mauls this guy.

Francis Crockett would then show us some more of Baltimore.

The Kansas Jayhawks ("Hangman" Bobby Jaggers & Dirty Dutch Mantell) vs. Randy Barber & Mike Force (3/28/87)

Squash.

Paul Ellering is out next for a promo talking about the Roadies conquering Japan again and how they would win the Cup again.

Then we get clips of Murdoch injuring Nikita's neck with a brainbuster on the floor on the 3/28 episode of NWA Pro which is followed up by a promo by the Super Powers. This wasn't DiBiase level but it was pretty good.

Bob & Brad Armstrong are out next for a promo about the Cup and this is good stuff as Bullet Bob tells Dick Murdoch's life story which is hilarious.

Chief Wahoo McDaniel & Baron Von Raschke vs. Larry Clarke & Rick Sullivan (3/28/87)

Wahoo & Baron made for a fun old guy team.

Next we get a taped promo by Mike Rotundo followed up by a promo by Wahoo & Baron with Wahoo being fucking awesome as an old prick.

Big Bubba Rogers vs. Cougar Jay (3/28/87)

Total squash.

Then we get a promo by Murdoch & the Russians who goes off on Bullet Bob in a retort from earlier and of course the Super Powers.

Next we get a taped promo by Bill Dundee & Mod Squad about their chances in the Crockett Cup.

Tully Blanchard & "Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Denny Brown & Todd Champion (3/28/87)

Denny is pesky here but with some illegal doubleteaming the Horsemen win with a promo to follow.

"White Lightning" Tim Horner vs. Arn Anderson (3/28/87)

Lex & Tully are on commentary here and get involved after a very fun match where Horner worked over Arn's left leg something fierce. Horner had Arn ready to be pinned when the Horsemen tried to jump him and he ran out. This was a really fun segment.

Arn cuts an enraged promo afterwards leading up to a taped promo by Kevin Sullivan regarding him being Arn's partner in the Cup.

Flair then comes out for his usual great promo.

Barry Windham vs. Dave Spearman (3/28/87)

Windham wins in seconds.

Next is a promo by Paul Jones & Rick Rude with Rude continuing his ongoing promo battle with Flair.

"Ravishing" Rick Rude vs. Larry Stephens (3/28/87)

Rude was great here as the heel who hated everyone including the other heels.

Garvins are out next for a promo about Cornette & Flair.

Bill & Randy Mulkey vs. The Gladiators (3/28/87)

This is one of the most memorable matches in the JCP run in TBS era as they had pimped the Gladiators for weeks saying they would be a top team in the Crockett Cup and then they show up here jobbing to the ultimate jobbers in the Mulkey's. This kickstarted Mulkey Mania and this is a slam dunk extra. David Crockett was kingsized here.

NWA Pro Wrestling 3/21/87

Ragin & Ravishing start this off with Tony talking about how they are the tag champs and #1 seed in the Crockett Cup but everyone is overlooking them especially the Super Powers.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Rocky King & George South (3/17/87)

This would be the final TV match ever for this incarnation of the Midnight Express and they made very easy work of these guys.

Flair joins Tony next talking about how he is tired of talking about Ole and that he wants to talk about his viable contenders such as Windham, Dusty, Nikita, & Armstrong saying that he has beaten them all.

Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, & "Total Package" Lex Luger vs. "White Lightning" Tim Horner, Italian Stallion, & Dexter Westcott (3/17/87)

Horner comes out firing on the Horsemen and he gets some shine here but his partners not so much.

Luger & Dillon then talk to Tony next about Luger now becoming a full-time Horseman and he always strives to be the best.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & Vladimir Petrov vs. Mark Fleming & Mike Simani (3/17/87)

Easy squash for the Russians.
