World Wide Wrestling 4/4/87

The show opens with Jim Crockett coming out and suspending Dick Murdoch for 30 days for giving Nikita Koloff a brainbuster on the floor and they have stripped him & Ivan Koloff of the US Tag Titles with a tournament coming soon. Then we get a taped promo from Murdoch who was very angry and threatened legal and physical actions.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Tommy Angel (3/31/87)

Angel needed one after being dropped with the Brainbuster in 30 seconds.

Ivan & Vladimir join Bob Caudle next where Ivan is clearly angry about Murdoch being suspended and stripped of the titles. Ivan promises revenge very soon.

The Armstrongs join Bob Caudle next talking about the Crockett Cup and how they are ready to take him the money and the trophy.

"Hangman" Bobby Jaggers vs. George South (3/31/87)

Dutch Mantell has left for Continental and Jaggers is riding solo for the moment. Jaggers hits a big diving elbow drop to win quickly.

Arn & Dillon join Caudle next talking about Tim Horner sticking up for Ole Anderson with Arn saying they are in Vietnam now because this is a war they will never win. Arn is great here.

Lazer-Tron vs. Larry Stephens (3/31/87)

Lazer-Tron using War Machine by KISS as his theme song was something else and this is another 30 second squash.

Next we get promos from Tully, Flair, Cornette, & Bubba for the 4/4 show in Boston.

Windham joins Caudle next talking about his match with Flair at the Crockett Cup and said that he has never been as prepared as he is for this match.

Ragin & Ravishing (Manny Fernandez & Rick Rude) vs. Johnny Ace & Mike Force (3/31/87)

This doesn't even go 30 seconds as the champs kill these guys and along with Paul Jones they join David Crockett at ringside talking about how they are the champs and the top seeds for the Crockett Cup. Jones then shows off the Ragin & Ravishing shirt which was something.

Flair joins Bob Caudle next talking about the Windham promo from earlier and how Windham will fall to him yet again at the Crockett Cup.

The Super Powers then join Caudle next where Dusty talks about how he makes more money than anyone in sports so the $1 million doesn't matter to him but beating everyone else does. Then we get clips of Murdoch dropping Nikita with the brainbuster on the floor from NWA Pro the week before. Extra material.

Tully Blanchard & "Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Denny Brown & Nelson Royal (3/31/87)

Finally a match that goes over a minute as Brown & Royal were able to get some offense in but Tully would finish off Denny with the Slingshot Suplex to win.

Then we get promos from RnR & Nikita for the 4/4 show in Boston.

Next we get Ole Anderson with Caudle where they show clips from the NWA Pro show where Tim Horner & Tully Blanchard had a confrontation which went to the ring where Arn & Luger jumped Horner until Ole cleaned house with a baseball bat. The fans went apeshit for this and this is a definite extra.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Brodie Chase & Vernon Deaton (3/31/87)

Double Dropkick and bam the match ends just like that.

Then we get promos from Ole & Windham for the 4/4 show in Boston.

Baron & Wahoo join Caudle next for a promo talking about how no one should look past them in the Crockett Cup.

"Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & Big Bubba Rogers vs. Italian Stallion & Ricky Lee Jones (3/31/87)

Condrey has flown the coop and Stan Lane hasn't arrived yet so Eaton is teaming with Bubba. After the match, Cornette tells Crockett that the MX will be better than ever at the Cup.

World Championship Wrestling 4/4/87

Jim Crockett officially announces the Dick Murdoch suspension which brings out the angry Russians as they have been stripped of the US Tag Titles.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin & "Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Larry Clarke & Mike Force (4/4/87)

Squash with Flair coming out on commentary ogling Precious. Flair is at his pervy best saying that Precious has some bodacious ta-tas which was hilarious.

R&R Express are out next for a promo about the Cup.

Next we get a taped promo from Dick Murdoch who is very upset about being suspended.

Ragin & Ravishing (Manny Fernandez & Rick Rude) vs. Cougar Jay & Dexter Westcott (4/4/87)

The champs win this in seconds then cut a promo afterwards but sadly no Horsemen trolling.

Mike Rotundo sends in another bland taped promo.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Tommy Angel & Bill Tabb (4/4/87)

Destruction with a promo afterwards where Hawk drops to the floor and does a herky jerky dance while calling people human suppositories. Extra material.

Big Bubba Rogers vs. Gary Royal (4/4/87)

Squash.

Cornette has a big announcement after the match and it's the addition of "Sweet" Stan Lane to the Midnight Express. Slam dunk extra.

"Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Italian Stallion (4/4/87)

Squash.

Nikita comes out next vowing revenge for his neck injury.

Baron is out next wearing a great leather jacket/turtleneck combo for a promo. He looks like a hired goon for a James Bond villain.

Ole Anderson vs. Brodie Chase (4/4/87)

Horner is out with Ole holding a baseball bat while Ole destroys Chase and they cut a promo afterwards.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & Vladimir Petrov vs. Johnny Ace & Ricky Lee Jones (4/4/87)

Faces look good early but that doesn't last long and a promo afterwards.

Then we get another taped promo by the Mod Squad but this time they speak for themselves.

NWA World TV Title: Tully Blanchard vs. Larry Stephens (4/4/87)

Easy win for Tully.

Francis Crocektt then takes us around Baltimore again.

Flair is out next for a promo talking about his desire for Precious again and calls her to come out which she does with Flair spittin mad game but eats a big slap which he likes. Slam dunk extra.

Arn laughing before the match was great and he cuts a great promo afterwards where he threatens Ole and says he may go to his house to fight him.

Barry Windham cuts a short promo next.

Bob & Brad Armstrong vs. Randy Barber & Mike Jackson (4/4/87)

Easy win for the Armstrongs with the Mike Jackson/Brad exchanges early on were awesome.

Ronnie Garvin is out next for a promo just burying Cornette.

Easy win for Barry.

Cornette brings out his new MX for another promo and this is great.

Then we get another taped promo by Sullivan about the Cup.

World Wide Wrestling 4/11/87

This starts with a promo from Ivan & Vladimir about the Crockett Cup.

The New Breed (Chris Champion & Sean Royal) vs. Rocky King & George South (4/7/87)

This is the New Breed's JCP TV debut and they look great here. The best part was the girls were cheering for them thinking they were babyfaces but they were wrong. Royal overshot his Bombs Away finisher and they worked around the blown spot which was good before the Breed put them away.

Nikita joins Bob Caudle next saying that his neck is coming along better every day and he has to get back to full strength to get revenge against Murdoch and the Russians for his injury. Nikita also calls out Luger for the first time as their feud is starting.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. John Savage (4/7/87)

Easy win for Garvin.

Dusty joins Bob Caudle next talking about Ole Anderson's new turn and he sends a warning to Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner about teaming with him from his own past mistakes. Dusty said that his loyalty belongs to 4 men now in Magnum, Roadies, & Nikita. Extra material.

"Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Todd Champion (4/7/87)

Funny watching the top prospect of April 1987 meeting the top prospect of April 1986 here with Luger getting a big push and Champion floundering. Champion does get some offense in but Luger overpowers him in the end. Dillon & Luger then join Crockett after the match talking about how great Luger is.

Cornette is out next talking about his new Midnight Express and how they are going to be better than ever winning all the gold.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Vernon Deaton & Gary Royal (4/7/87)

Paul Jones is joined by Ragin & Ravishing next as they talk to Caudle about the Road Warriors coming for their titles which they tell them to sign the contracts and bring it on.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Tommy Angel & Ricky Nelson (4/7/87)

Very quick squash naturally.

Baron is now wearing a singlet with his tights which was an odd sight.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff vs. Dexter Westcott (4/5/87)

Ivan wins with ease.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Thunderfoot (4/5/87)

Precious comes out wearing the coat and is still with Jimmy

Tony then interviews Jimmy & Precious at ringside where Jimmy tells her how much he loves her before going off on Flair saying that he wasn't man enough to take his woman and that he bought all of his women. Flair then comes out with the Horsemen and he gets in Garvin's face which brings out Dusty, Nikita, & Ronnie who gets in Flair's face and tells him if there is a problem then talk to him. The New Breed (Chris Champion & Sean Royal) vs. Cougar Jay & Chance McQuade (4/5/87)
