Tony Atlas vs. Bobby Garrett (3/12/83) Ellering is again on commentary and is hilarious. “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. David Lucas (3/12/83) Rich jumps Sawyer during his match and tries to rip his headgear off. Zbyszko then loads up Sawyer’s headgear but Rich fights back as the Superstar throws a strap in the ring. Rich just lays in the shots as Superstar holds them off. Fun stuff. Killer Brooks vs. Randy Barber (3/12/83) Brooks makes his debut on TBS. Killer Brooks vs. Tommy Bright (3/12/83) Squash. Murdoch comes out and says that he is going to throw a party later in the show with the $5,000 he has won from the Iron Sheik. Zbyszko jumps Johnny Rich during his match with Chick Donovan before the referee staff breaks it up. Koloff & Sheik come out for a promo and they look like they have been in a big brawl somewhere. This will come into play over the next week. Iron Sheik & “The Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff vs. Chief Joe Lightfoot & Pat Rose (3/12/83) The heels are just too dominant until Tito Santana runs in the ring brawling with the heels as Solie somberly says that they just found Dick Murdoch. They show a Steamboat/Youngblood squash from Mid-Atlantic on the Best of Sunday show. The Mongols vs. Tim Burnett & Jack Poore (2/26/83) Squash. They show a Kernodle/Slaughter squash from World Wide featuring King Parsons before he became the Iceman. Solie & Brad Armstrong talk about the Murdoch situation to open the show (3/19/83) Murdoch has to be held back from jumping Koloff & Sheik as they are cutting a promo. Larry Zbyszko vs. Chief Joe Lightfoot (3/19/83) Techwood just despises Zbyszko. After the match, Zbyszko offers Killer Brooks $25,000 to give him the National Heavyweight Title if he defeats Paul Orndorff at the Omni the next night. They show a Flair squash match from Florida. Killer Brooks vs. Mike Starbuck (3/19/83) Squash. Ole Anderson & “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. Brad Armstrong & Bob Scott (3/19/83) Why they put Brad with a jobber makes no sense to me. Killer Brooks vs. Johnny Rich (3/19/83) Solie calls this a main event anywhere in the world. Surrrrrrrrrrre. Brooks gets DQed for excessive violence. Iron Sheik & “The Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff vs. Brad Armstrong & Chief Joe Lightfoot (3/19/83) This match was going along really good before Murdoch runs in and cleans house. Dusty Rhodes sends in a taped promo saying that he will be coming back to Georgia to reform the Texas Outlaws. Ellering cuts a promo talking about his new great team that will debut in two weeks. Tito Santana vs. Super Destroyer (3/5/83) This is from the GCW Superstars taping in Chattanooga. Both men looked good here as they worked a slow pace but really kicked it in gear for the last minute or two. Tito would get a cross body block for a nearfall just as the time expires. This was a solid match and a maybe nomination.
