They start the show with Dutch Mantell talking about vacating the Southern Tag Titles after Tommy Rich refused to show up for two title defenses in 8 days but he did show up for the last of the two just really late. They show highlights of the match from Louisville with Rich coming in cleaning house and pinning a Nightmare to win the match. Dutch then nails Rich with the belt and beats the hell out of him. Rich then comes out telling his side of the story

The New Generation (Mark Batten & Johnny Wilhoit) vs. The Nightmares (Danny Davis & Ken Wayne) (10/6/84)

Not a bad little match that ended with a DQ when Jimmy Hart broke up a pinfall.

They show the practical joke that Jimmy Valiant pulled shaking hands with Lance Russell as he had an egg in his hand getting it all over Lance. Valiant then does it to Jimmy Hart but this time he breaks the eggs over Hart’s head so he brings out the Family who destroys Valiant. This is a definite extra.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. Keith Roberson (10/6/84)

Roberson would become The Viking in UWF in 1987.

Next we get the Wimpbusters video and of course this is a definite extra.

Then we get the epic Kortsia Korchenko promo.

King Kong Bundy & “Ravishing” Rick Rude vs. Kenny Arnold & Keith Eric (10/6/84)

Squash.

“Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & Phil Hickerson vs. Rufus R. Jones & Mark Ragin (10/6/84)

Time expires before the end.

“Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert vs. Johnny Wilhoit (10/13/84)

Wilhoit subs for Mark Ragin. Gilbert is relentless working on Wilhoit’s already injured right leg but Wilhoit doesn’t quit and keeps fighting so when Gilbert puts him in the figure-four, Wilhoit grabs the bottom rope but Gilbert doesn’t release so he gets DQed. Gilbert still won’t let go until Savage shows up and beats his ass.

Next we get some poetry by Lanny Poffo.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. Kurt Von Hess (10/13/84)

Savage basically has to fight both his opponent and Jimmy Hart and it goes from the ring to the floor numerous times. Eddie Gilbert then shows up and attacks Savage behind Jerry Calhoun’s back but Macho would overcome the odds and got the victory.

We get another Korchenko promo that is great.

King Kong Bundy & “Ravishing” Rick Rude vs. Keith Eric & Ken Raper (10/13/84)

The new Southern tag champs squash the long-time Memphis jobbers.

The Dirty White Boys (Tony Anthony & Len Denton) vs. Mark Batten & “Macho Man” Randy Savage (10/13/84)

Savage is subbing for the injured Johnny Wilhoit. DWB’s beat on Batten but he puts up a good fight and when he finally gets the hot tag, Savage goes nuts on the DWB’s but would tag Batten back in after 30 seconds. Denton & Savage brawl on the floor as Anthony comes off the top rope with a clothesline to get the win. There is still time left on the show so we get a 2nd fall and the beatdown of Batten continues with Macho coming in the ring to get his shots in so the DWB’s bring a steel chair in the ring and they nail Savage with a chair. Savage juices and gets his ass kicked by DWB’s and Jimmy Hart as jobbers try to make the save and fail. Eddie Marlin then shows up and demands they get off of Savage, which they finally do. This was fun stuff but I don’t know about a nomination since it was mainly Batten getting his ass kicked.
