And now we have a historic show as Lance Russell is joined by Gordon Solie as part of the merger between CWG & CWA. (11/10/84)

“Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin vs. Pat Hutchinson (11/10/84)

Garvin looks great here.

They showed the Rude/Hart angle from last week and followed with highlights of Lawler/Rude/Valiant vs. Bundy/DWBs from Memphis on 11/5/84. This looked like a fucking blast.

Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. The Invader (11/10/84)

Squash.

The Hollywood Blondes (Ted Oates & Rip Rogers) vs. The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) (11/10/84)

LX looked great early keeping the advantage on Rip Rogers showing off their great quickness and teamwork. The mood changed as when Rogers was tied up in the ropes Armstrong tried to hit a cross body block but Rogers moved and Armstrong went crashing to the floor. Rogers came off the top with an diving axehandle and threw him back in the ring where Oates would follow up. The heels would beat on Brad but he would fight back to make the hot tag to Horner who came in blazing but as he got Rogers in an O’Connor Roll, Oates came off the middle rope with a clothesline. The heels would go for a spike piledriver on Horner befor Brad broke it up. They would chunk Horner to the floor and tried the spike piledriver on Brad but Ronnie Garvin would run in to make the save but got the LX DQed. Fun match with a crappy finish.

Ole Anderson & Jerry Jarrett come out to talk about the merger and it’s funny seeing Ole in the Memphis studios.

Then we get a Bill & Scott Irwin video from World Class hyping their arrival.

Then we get highlights of the Poffos/Gilberts match from Memphis on 11/5/84.

“Hot Stuff” Eddie & Tommy Gilbert vs. Jerry Bryant & Keith Eric (11/10/84)

Squash.

Gordon joins Lance for another week of action.

Lawler comes out to say that if he doesn’t win a world title in 1985, he would retire.

The Long Riders (Wild Bill & Scott “Hog” Irwin) vs. David Johnson & Tracy Smothers (11/17/84)

Squash.

“Handsome” Jimmy Valiant vs. The Invader (11/17/84)

Squash.

Iron Mike Sharpe vs. Jim Jameson (11/17/84)

Squash.

Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Pat Hutchinson (11/17/84)

Squash.

“Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert (11/17/84)

Gilbert fakes a leg injury early to get the advantage on Garvin and it succeeds. Gilbert locks in a sleeper but Garvin would work out of it and went back to the advantage although Gilbert would soon regain it. Garvin fires a loud chop to break that up and started working a crossface on the mat before Gilbert worked his way back up. Garvin would get tired in the ropes giving Gilbert a chance to get some shots in as Hart would help a little on the floor also. Gilbert would come off the middle rope with a diving kneedrop but Garvin would rebound and locked in a half crab when Phil Hickerson interfered for the DQ. Lawler and the Battens would run in to make the save. Man another shitty finish but there was enough good stuff in this match to throw it on the block.

They show a Rick Rude workout video to some music that sounds like it could come from a Dolemite movie.

The Dirty White Boys (Tony Anthony & Len Denton) vs. Bart & Brad Batten (11/17/84)

DWB’s just beat their ass although the Battens should some great heart.
