“Superstar” Bill Dundee & Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Mongolian Stomper & Tarras Bulba (10/14/85)

This is JIP from MSC.

Jonathan Boyd then comes out to describe what a rugby scrum is then Rip Morgan demonstrates it in the ring.

The Fabs come out afterwards and Lane basically called the action a little gay. Keirn then talks about Dundee saying earlier that he could beat the Fabs was just talk so Dundee comes out and wants a match. Lawler comes out to try to cool heads but ends up with Dundee jacking Lawler’s jaw after he told him that he doesn’t want to be his partner anymore. They chase Dundee around the studio but he gets away. This was awesome and extra material. (10/19/85)

The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) vs. Jimmy Beale & Wayne Blaylock (10/19/85)

Squash.

Dundee comes back out and says that he would put his $25,000 sportscar on the line if Lawler would wrestle him and put his Southern Heavyweight Title on the line. Lawler said that he doesn’t want the car so Dundee offers up his hair instead. Lawler loves this idea and takes the offer.

Southern Heavyweight Title vs. Hair: Jerry “The King” Lawler © vs “Superstar” Bill Dundee (10/19/85)

Jesus there was some awesome punches thrown here by both men and a mega hot crowd. The rest of the action was great too as I don’t think these two could have a bad match with each other. Lawler drops the strap and goes to town on Dundee but he would pull a chain out and jacked Lawler’s jaw to win the title. Dundee now becomes the #1 contender for the NWA World Heavyweight Title in the area. Dundee then cuts a celebration promo afterwards before Lawler comes out for a war of words. Lawler then threatens to bash Dundee’s car in if he doesn’t sign a return match contract and goes to the parking lot to do it with the fans egging him on. Dundee finally agrees to sign it. This is a definite nomination.

Jerry Jarrett & Tojo Yamamoto vs. The Invader & The Shadow (10/19/85)

36 second squash.

Manny Fernandez & Hector Guerrero come out for a party with Lance Russell and Hector ends up giving hot peppers to fans. (11/21/87)

“Ragin Bull” Manny Fernandez & Hector Guerrero vs. The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Sags) (11/21/87)

Man it’s funny seeing the Nasties as faces. Fun little match with the Mexicans looking good and the Nasties showing some babyface fire.

Hector comes out again talking shit until Bill Dundee shows up with a water bucket throwing it in his face. Manny jumps him from behind and they put the pepper in Dundee’s eyes before being run off by the faces.

Jeff Jarrett & Billy Travis vs. The A-Team (11/21/87)

Jarrett & Travis look great.

Jimmy Jack Funk vs. John Paul (11/21/87)

Squash.

Steve Keirn comes out looking very 1987 wearing his acid washed jeans and talks about being burned by Jerry Lawler saying that it wasn’t an accident and he knows it. Keirn asks Jeff Jarrett to come out asking for his opinion and it leads to a brawl with Keirn/Funk vs. Jarrett/Lawler and Lawler throwing fire in Funk’s face. Great stuff.

Southern Heavyweight Title: Bobby Jaggers © vs. Jerry Lawler (11/21/87)

Jaggers attacks Lawler with Nate the Rat’s cane before the bell and chunks him to the floor before posting him twice then slammed his head on the table then a steel chair. Lawler juices here as Jaggers continues to pound on him with the fans chanting for Lawler. Lawler would soon drop the strap and threw some great punches but Jaggers would hit Lawler with a chain and as Jaggers went for the cane again, Lawler schoolboyed Jaggers for the win. Funk & Keirn ran back out and they all beat on Lawler until Jarrett cleans house with a 2x4. Fun stuff.

Mark Guleen shows up as a heel manager decked out in a tux in a video introducing Teijho Khan.

Teijho Khan vs. Jim Jameson (11/21/87)

Squash.

Midnight Rockers (Marty Jannetty & Shawn Michaels) show up cutting a promo on the Rock n Roll RPM’s.

We get a fucking awesome segment hosted by Eddie Gilbert called This Is Your Life with Jerry Lawler bringing out Tommy Gilbert, Stan Frazier, & Jimmy Hart and it’s all anti-Lawler. This is a definite extra. (Not sure of the date but it is January or February 1985)

Hector Guerrero brings out a pinata and blindfolds Lance Russell but candy doesn’t come out it’s flour. Lance is very pissed off and walks out of the ring. Definite extra but no date yet.

We get highlights of Jack Hart (Barry Horowitz) roughing up Lance Russell then Randy Hales until Jeff Jarrett cleans house. Then we get Hart & Chick beating the hell out of Soul Train Jones & Rocky Johnson with Paul E. throwing white powder on Rocky as Chick piledrives Jones on the floor. Then highlights of the Southern Tag Titles change from 5/4/87. Hart & Paul E. then attack Hales & Eddie Marlin as the DVD cuts off. (5/9/87)
