How about Europe as the next set? It sounds like there is some new German footage floating around.

After joshi, I'll be happy to hunt down some more Europe.

Are we planning on a doing a Stampede set? Feels like something we should throw into a Other North America set, most of that stuff was clipped to shit

I would argue that Stampede should have its own set because it's better to compare against itself (where EVERYTHING was clipped) than other stuff.

I was thinking, is there any reason not to do Lucha next? There isn't a ton of footage out there, and Bix and I already have a bunch of it so there are minimal distribution and aquiring costs. I know we wanted to wait for Jose to unearth more stuff, but with the erratta set, if he comes up with anything new, we can just throw it on there.

I doubt Jose would be able to unearth anything for awhile.

 

It's not a terrible idea. I would need to pick up some of the '84 & '89 stuff that I don't have but that's not too much.

I thought the Joshi was a long term thing? Wasn't the problem with Joshi that there was so much of it to burn through? I am focusing pretty much on trying to work through Memphis, I haven't even started on the discs of Joshi. Is Joshi for sure what we are doing?

Long term with one crew (Loss and Childs) nominating matches while you, Kris and Bix do Memphis. Then when it comes time to do joshi, we have a head start. Right now, we have about 100 4 hour discs and 30 2 hour discs. That would be the equivalent of 230 or so discs. We did near 400 discs or Mid South and will hit about the same for Memphis. With only some more Dan discs left and commercial tapes left, Joshi would be easy to knock off next if Loss and Childs continue to nominate matches.

Okay Will and I chatted this out, and here is what we are going to do. Post Memphis we are going to spilt into two groups. Childs, Loss and Will will be working on Joshi, Tomk, Kris and I will be doing Lucha. First set done, we will put out. I am point person for Lucha, so talk to me about footage et all.

As point man for joshi, I'll arrange with Loss and Childs a plan that will be good for all of us. If anyone cannot commit to the project for any reason, we'll find an alternative.
