Posted February 3, 200817 yr comment_5427792 All Japan Classics 77 Shoehi Baba v. Tiger Jeet Singh (PWF Title, 7/30/82) - No Shoehi Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta v. Super Destroyer & Umanoseke Ueda (11/26/82) - This was pretty fun even though it is far from a nomination. Bruiser Brody/Stan Hansen v. Ricky Steamboat/Jay Youngblood (11/26/82) - Shit, Brody and Hansen give the faces NOTHING. What an unprofessional sack of shit Bruiser Brody is. Seriously, all take and no give on his part. Really, they treated this like an extended squash and the match suffered as a result. Shoehi Baba v. Umanoseke Ueda (12/7/82) - This didn’t last long. Jumbo Tsuruta v. Stan Hanson (12/7/82) - This reminds me of the TV match of Jake-Slater that didn’t last as long but had as much action as the longer matches. This only goes about ten minutes or so before both are counted out. Both guys continue to go at each other after the match but not much happens. This was fun but not nom-worthy. A weak post-match actually bothered me enough to keep it off the block.
