(11/1/86) Jerry Jarrett says that his dream match would be facing Tojo Yamamoto in a boxing match but Tojo wants a kendo stick on a pole match with heels as lumberjacks. (11/1/86) Jeff Jarrett said he wants a International Tag Titles match with Paul Diamond against Tarzan Goto & Akio Sato with Tojo in a cage with 2 refs and one being Eddie Marlin. Tojo says that Diamond ain’t coming back because his leg is falling off because he has cancer. Akio Sato said that he wants a handicap match with Goto & Tojo against Jeff Jarrett & Eddie Marlin where if they lose they get shaved. Dirty Rhodes wants a bullrope match against Lawler for the Southern title with Don Bass as the referee. Lawler wants a Southern Tag Titles match against Rhodes & Bass and wants Big Bubba as his partner. Don Bass, Dirty Rhodes, Tarzan Goto, & Akio Sato vs. Excitement Inc. (John Paul & Rick McCord), Davey Haskins, & Jim Jameson (11/1/86) Squash. The Sheepherders (Jonathan Boyd & Bigfoot) make their return to Memphis with Boyd cutting a great promo. (11/1/86) The Sheepherders (Jonathan Boyd & Bigfoot) vs. Randy & Robert Bryant (11/1/86) Squash. 20 Man Battle Royal for $5,000 won by Jerry Lawler (11/1/86) This was a lot of fun and there was a great comment by guest announcer Ron Olsen as he said that the $5,000 will put a lot of food on the table and steroids in the body for the winner. It came down to Lawler and the Sheeps who were distracted by Billy Travis so Lawler could throw them out. This ended up being a wild brawl involving Dirty Rhodes who also stole the $5,000. Jeff Jarrett, Tracy Smothers, Pat Tanaka, & Billy Travis vs. The Animals (Mike McGuire & Duke Myers) & Memphis Vice (Jerry Bryant & Lou Winston) (11/1/86) This was a fun match as Memphis Vice would eventually turn on the Animals causing them to lose. Paul Diamond & Jeff Jarrett show up holding their newly won International Tag Titles. Tojo then comes out saying that is going to crucify them before the Japanese jump the new champs and Tojo beats Diamond with the kendo stick. (11/8/86) Tarzan Goto & The Ninja vs. Tony Parks & Pat Tanaka (11/8/86) This was pretty good as Parks wasn’t bad but it ends on a DQ when they try to injure Pat Tanaka and Paul Diamond makes the save. They show highlights of the Lawler/Dirty Rhodes bullrope match from MSC then Bubba/Lawler vs. Bass/Dirty on 11/3/86. Big Bubba then comes out and cuts a great promo against the people of Memphis and had a great line where he saw a black guy in a restaurant who told him he was eating a fortune cookie but it was just a piece of cornbread with a food stamp in the middle. Bubba then introduces Downtown Bruno for his Memphis debut and he wasn’t as sharp as he would be. Bruno then introduces Bubba’s partner Goliath. (11/8/86) Lawler then introduces himself to Bruno before being confronted by Bubba & Goliath who move him out of the way. Stan Frazier then shows up to make up for the size difference. Boy Tony vs. Tracy Smothers (11/8/86) Smothers has Tony pinned but Bruno jumps in to help when Jerry Calhoun was down and Tony gets the win. The Sheepherders attack Eddie Marlin as he tries to fine them for stealing Lawler’s money before being run off by Jarrett & Travis with steel chairs. Jarrett & Travis are supposed to have a match but the Sheeps come out wanting a fight and that’s what we get as both teams just beat the hell out of each other with everyone juicing getting blood all over the studio. It takes the entire locker room to separate everyone. This was great and a definite extra. Diamond, Jarrett, & Travis have a verbal debate with the Sheeps, Tojo, Goto, & Sato. (11/15/86) International Tag Titles: Paul Diamond & Jeff Jarrett © vs. Tarzan Goto & Akio Sato (11/15/86) Travis sits at ringside to counter Tojo and this is a pretty good match until the Sheeps show up to jump Travis and Tojo throws salt in Diamond’s eyes causing his team to lose the titles. The Rock n Roll RPM’s (Mike Davis & Tommy Lane) make their debut in Memphis as babyfaces and brawls with Goto & Sato. (11/15/86) Bruno comes out with his guys and cuts a great promo talking about pimps, rednecks, and other assorted things. (11/15/86)
