I'm curious to see what others (especially Kris) think.

The later PWUSA was pretty much all AWA anyways. The early stuff is different.
February 11, 200817 yr comment_5428037 This may be a similar case to Maple Leaf and Florida. You could argue that latter day Maple Leaf was WWF. Earlier stuff was Mid Atlantic-centric. Bix made the case that Florida in 1989 was a completely different company from the NWA territory. If there is tons of early PWUSA, then give me some match lists and what is actually out there? The only PWUSA I know of is heavily AWA.

February 14, 200817 yr Author comment_5428122 Instead of starting a new thread, I'll ask this here: Should GCW Superstars/Championship Wrestling (at least the later version) go under "NWA" or Memphis? Based on the GCW name and the fact that the earlier version belongs as "NWA" it should go under "NWA," but everything else feels like Memphis: The booking, announcing, roster, use of the Memphis opening after Ole pulled out, etc. I dunno if we'd necessarily find anything match wise but there's some stuff from there that should be extras somewhere (I just converted Cornette's mother's dog's birthday party to DVD and while there are video quality issues, it's hilarious) and Memphis is next so I figured I'd ask the question.
