The biggest problem is that the crowd is painfully dead. They do some nifty stuff but not enough that stands out or anything that you will remember a few days from now. No vote. Michael Hayes & Terry Gordy vs. Kerry Von Erich & Bruiser Brody (World Class) (6/17/83) - Pretty famous match that I believe we have with English commentary in VG VQ. I’ll pass on this one for now but if we nominate it and need the best VQ, we’ll use this version. Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Ted Dibiase (6/17/83) (Dallas) - Once again, like the Chavo-Fuchi match, the biggest problem seems to be match placement. If this match happens in Mid South, Georgia or Japan, I imagine it gets a pretty good reaction. Instead, in World Class, you get crickets. The work was ok but nothing worth nominating. Shoehi Baba vs. King Kong Bundy (6/17/83) (Dallas) - Not as bad as one would expect or as good as I had hoped. Baba wins with a boot to the head clean in the middle.
