British Bulldogs vs. Tiger Mask & Mighty Inoue (11/30/85)

- This kind of reminds me of a high-end mid-80s WWf tag match. It isn’t just because the Bulldogs are in there but also because it really follows those rambling Northwest tag formulas where both teams throw out the big bombs, make a bunch of tags but you never get the sense that they are actually telling a story. I enjoyed this match and it was never boring. I just don’t know if I would call it good.

Dory and Terry Funk vs. Terry Gordy & Art Crews (10/22/85)

- This is pretty straightforward. Terry Gordy is basically wrestling a handicapped match because Crews brings nothing. I can watch Gordy all day but this wasn’t a high end match.

Dory and Terry Funk vs. Road Warriors (10/19/85)

- The thing that works best for this match is that the Roadies have Terry Funk on the other side bumping for them. Not much here besides that.

Rick Martel vs. Stan Hansen (12/29/85) (AWA Title, Meadowlands NJ)

- This one is clipped in the middle. I don’t know how much is clipped so I’ll let KHawk handle this one.

Jumbo Tsuruta & Genichiro Tenyru vs. Road Warriors (10/21/85)

- Better than normal Roadies match that ends in a DQ. Still, on a set that I think will have a bunch o super tags, I am not nominating this.

The British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith) vs. Mighty Inoue & Tiger Mask II (11/30/85)

There was no real psychology here as it was basically you do moves then I do moves and they did keep the action moving along which was fine. This was a good match that if there was some type of psychology would've been better.

Dory & Terry Funk vs. Art Crews & Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy (10/22/85)

Who doesn't fit in here.

Dory & Terry Funk vs. The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) (10/19/85)

I fucking loved watching Terry against the Roadies at Korakuen no less. The fans were hot and this was fun for what it was.

Genichiro Tenryu & Jumbo Tsuruta vs. The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) (10/21/85)

The fans were hot for this. The natives hit the Roadies with their big moves but it doesn't affect them. Roadies were total powerhouses here but of course this would go to a DQ when the steel chair was used.
