Is there really any doubt on this being a nomination, I think not. This is a legendary match and a slam dunk nomination.

Yeah, even if everyone here universally hated this match, it would still go on the set. NO discussion needed.

I haven't rewatched it but yeah, c'mon.

This is an all time classic with one of the great angles of all time.

I remembered the angle of course, but haven't watched the match in years, and damn was this a hell of a match before Rich pops out from under the ring. Idol looked as good as he ever did, and Lawler was totally awesome, I especially loved his over the top bumps. There was points during the post match where you legitimataly thought the crowd was going to rush the cage and murder Idol, Rich and Paul E.

This wasn't a Loser Leaves Town match was it?
