Speed (Ken Wayne) vs. Dennis Upton (12/26/81)

Competitive squash.

The Blonde Bombers (Wayne Ferris & Larry Latham) vs. Tony Boyles & Bill Dundee (6/7/80)

Dundee was fucking great here and the Bombers was one of the great lost tag teams of all-time. Future Nightmare Danny Davis was their manager and they had their shit together. Boyles was okay in spots and at least he wasn’t in long. The ending was pretty botched but the work was enough here along with the stuff after the match with Jerry Jarrett, Eddie Marlin, and the like to warrant discussion.

Next we get a brawl with Danny Davis & Terry Sawyer from 1979 featuring the Blonde Bombers & Buddy Fuller and you see where Robert & Ron get their great punches from.

Next we get highlights of Randy Rose winning a 2-ring battle royal from MSC on 12/28/81.

The Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) vs. Rick McCord & Johnny Rich (1/2/82)

Good little match before the Gibson’s run in with boards cracking the heads of the MX.

Cuban & Iranian Assassins vs. Chief Thundercloud & Ricky Morton (1/2/82)

Lawler does commentary and talks about his return to the ring.

“Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, Stan Lane, & Sweet Brown Sugar (Koko Ware) vs. “Superstar” Bill Dundee, Ricky & Robert Gibson (1/2/82)

HOLY SHIT the dream Midnight Express of Eaton/Lane/Sugar I would’ve loved to have seen these three get a Freebird type run. One thing I loved about Dundee in tag matches as a face was that he would always give the heel manager shit and he rules it here by crawling under the ring and trying to grab Hart but Sugar holds him up. This was going really great until the Cuban & Iranian Assassins jumped in followed by Steve Keirn for the DQ.

“Dirty” Dutch Mantell vs. The Invader (1/9/82)

Squash.

Paul Ellering vs. Aaron Holt (5/3/80)

Squash.

We get a Jerry Lawler video spanning his whole life.

AWA World Tag Titles: “Superstar” Bill Dundee & Jerry “The King” Lawler © vs. The Original Midnight Express (“Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Ravishing” Randy Rose) (10/30/87)

This is from Whitewater, Wisconsin and would’ve worked a lot better in Memphis or Louisville as the fans really didn’t go for the faces here. This was a damn good match that we will talk about when AWA comes up.
