Posted February 15, 200817 yr comment_5428151 It opens with the introduction of Rick Rude to the Memphis. He doesn't quite have the charisma he would have later, but shows some. J.J Dillion delivers a solid promo from Florida. Lawler vs. Sabu the Wild Man Their are some neat interactions here. Like Lawler stomping Sabu's barefeet. Sollid match that furtherd the Lawler/Hart angle. Just an awesome music video for Austin Idol. Their should be an extra's disk devoted to just videos. Lance Russell is so awesome at getting over matches. LeDuc promo where he calls the Fabs, the Fags. A fun little angle with Dillon and Hart. Dillon sends a tape recorder to Hart with a tape with a promo on it. This was cool, and Hart fires back with a good promo. Lance accuses Rude of coming out to the Fabs music. Hart corrects him with the quip that it's not the Fabs music; it's Billy Squires. That was funny . Nice angle at the end of a 6 man tag where Stagger Lee gets whipped up on by Dream Machine and Porkchop cash while Norvell Austin trys to get his partners to stop. His partners keep knocking him down. This leads to Norvell's face turn and saves Stagger Lee. In essence this is a reunion of sorts of the PyT's. An awesome Rick Rude music video airs. They show a possible extra with LeDuc and the history of his key angles in Memphis. This was cool stuff. Lawler/Idol vs. The Road Warriors Lawler is pretty damn great here. He makes the LOD look like a million bucks. Lawler and Idol make the Road Warriors look like Superman. Just doing basic big man little man spots. Finally Lawler gets an offensive move in at the 8:00 minute mark. Needless to say this pops the crowd. Overall, this was fun stuff, but not quite nom worthy . Overall a fun disk.
