Posted February 15, 200817 yr comment_5428159 No matches, but a couple of fun angles. Curt Henning goes nuts chokes a Toyota dealer and Lance Russell and wrecks the set, before kicking Lawler in the nads. Fun angle, and probably an extra. There is also the Stud Stable playing baseball in the studio, which leads to Fuller breaking Jarretts arm with a baseball bat.
May 7, 200817 yr comment_5431141 Shawn Baxter vs. The Blue Knight (6/4/88) Fuller comes out saying that Baxter looks like Rod Stewart and he wrestles like him. After the match, Fuller brings out the newest member of the Stud Stable in Don Bass and the rest of the Stable to recruit Baxter that he turns them down and gets his ass kicked. Steiner & Travis run them off. Brickhouse Brown vs. Tommy King (6/4/88) Squash. Next we get a video on Curt Hennig. Then we get clips of Brick/Dundee from MSC on 5/30/88. Tom Brandi & Max Pain vs. Don Bass & Gary Young (6/4/88) Sylvia is looking quite fetching in her spandex suit. Brandi would take a beating before tagging in Max Pain who starts firing shots until Brick would jump him from behind. Brick would work on the leg until Shawn Baxter ran in and started beating Brick’s ass. The guy from Covington Pike Toyota does his weekly thing in Memphis that we haven’t gotten on the Evansville feeds and guarantees that if Lawler loses his match to Hennig on 6/6 that he would refund everyone’s money. Curt Hennig shows up surprisingly and starts bashing Toyota’s and takes the dealer down who smiles when he gets up. Hennig then goes off on Lawler after Hales, Jarrett, & Marlin pull him off and starts terrorizing the set with the ring bell. Hennig does some redecorating his way and grabs Lance by his suit choking him until Lawler finally shows up. Fuller & Young then hold him up as Hennig spits in his face and kicks him in the balls. This was completely fucking awesome and a slam dunk extra. Tojo brings out Jarrett & Senshi cutting a promo but Eddie Marlin interferes and buries Hennig before Tojo resumes his promo and goes off on Sylvia. 2 out of 3 falls: Jeff Jarrett & Senshi (Ryuma Go) vs. Rough & Ready (6/4/88) This was one of the longest matches in the careers of Rough & Ready. Fuller comes out after the match bringing back Downtown Bruno the newest member of the Stud Stable. Lance would interview Lawler in the locker room about Hennig with a video to follow and this is great stuff. Senshi (Ryuma Go) vs. Keith Eric (6/11/88) Squash. They show highlights of the Renegades tournament semifinals and finals from MSC on 6/6/88. Next we get clips of Jarrett/Senshi vs. Fuller/Golden from MSC on 6/6/88. This ends up with Jarrett stripping Sylvia although they blur it out. The Stud Stable come out with baseball gear and play a little ball in the studio. Great stuff. Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden vs. Tommy King & Alan Reynolds (6/11/88) Then we get a Doug Furnas video as he was coming into the territory. Jeff Jarrett vs. Terry Adonis (6/11/88) Fuller would come in with the baseball bat trying to use it and eventually does. Jeff would have to be helped out of the building. Brickhouse Brown vs. Doug Dancing (6/11/88) Squash. Brother Ernest Angel returns after the match proving that he doesn’t have AIDS and Max Pain sends in a taped promo. Tojo brings Senshi out and demands that the Stud Stable come out but Randy Hales said they left the building. Don Bass & Gary Young vs. Shawn Baxter & Tom Brandi (6/11/88) Okay match nothing special.
