Only downside is a deadish crowd, but otherwise this is two of the best of all time bringing it. Lawler breaks out a ton of offense here, enzigiri, multiple diving fistdrops, piledriver, side suplex, calf branding, plus awesome Lawler punches and cheapshots. No chain or fire, but he does break a Fujinami sleeper with a back kick low blow. Awesome leg selling by Lawler too. Really a hidden gem, no one talks about. Norio Honaga vs. ? 4/13/89 Couldn't find a listing for his opponent. Basic NJ Juniors rookie match, with the question mark having some nice flying moves Brian Pillman vs. Masa Saito 4/13/89 Fun five minute match that broke down a bit, when it appeared both guys were potatoing each other. Cool splash by Pillman and I love the Saito suplex Antonio Inoki vs. Shiro Koshinaka 4/13/89 This is your young guy taking it to the legend. Some cool stuff, including a Inoki missile dropkick, and I loved the veteran turning the butt attack into a German suplex, still not a nomination. Big Van Vader/Buzz Sawyer/Brad Rhenigans vs. Riki Choshu/Tatsumi Fujinami/Kengo Kimura 4/13/89 I think this is a nomination. A sprint with Vader as the focus, and he looked awesome, laying everyone out with cool offense and selling and bumping great. Sawyer and Rhenigans were fun too, although Rhenigans would do one dumb thing for every three cool things. Choshu was Choshu and I loved the Riki lariat taking down the monster.
