Posted February 22, 200817 yr comment_5428413 Show opens with Lawler talking about the tragedy of kids being kidapped. So Lawler did a public sevice announcement for missing kids. Jimmy Hart comes out and starts ripping on the kid that Lawler had out with him for his public service announcement. This was tastless. He also introduced his new bodyguard Dr. Detroit. This fella is one tough looking son of a gun. Savage/Poffo tag squash. Savage/Poffo vs. Eddie/Tommy Gilbert highlights. Tommy Gilbert is really looking awesome here. He does a brutal looking 2nd rope knee drop to Poffo that looked sick.Hickerson does a run in and just murdered Savage with some amazing looking punches.I'm not sure if enough is shown for a nomination bid. What is shown is tremendous. Rude vs. Bundy highlights are shown. About 30 seconds are shown. Their is a nice Rude beatdown afterwards. Hart does a promo, and replaces Hickerson in his match with Rude. Their is a recap from the Rude/Lawler/Valiant angle from the previous week. The highlights are shown of the Lawler/Valiant/Rude vs. DWB's/Bundy This looked like an awesome match. This was some choice brawling. Lawler vs. The Invader in a squash Rude vs. Hart Hart throws powder in the face. Then the Family beats him down and whip him with belts. Lawler and Handsome Jimmy come out for the save. The faces get beatdown, and are tar and feathered. This is an extra possibility. DWB's squash. Lawler/Valiant vs. The Destroyers This is just an ass kicking. The faces come out full of piss and vinegar from the earlier angle. Wow Len Denton cuts a great promo. I never knew he had it in him. Garvin vs Hutchinson Some amazing highlights of the Lawler/Rude/Valiant vs DWB's/ Bundy. This looked amazing. I wish we had this one in full somewhere. Lawler squash. Lightning Express vs. Hollywood Blondes The lightning Express control the first part of the match with some great arm works. Horner's nip ups were just awesome looking. The Lightning Express just do quick tags with one another. The heels gain control on an Armstrong miscue and he ends up on the floor. Rogers does a Savage Ax Handle from the top to the floor. The Blondes have Armstrong in FIP, and go to work on him. Armstrong gets some nice hope spots, and now the crowd is into this match cheering Armstrong on. The crowd pops at the hot tag. Horner gets cut off and begins to sell. Ronnie Garvin comes in and makes the save on a shit finish. I'm going to throw this on the block as a low end nomination. This was a good solid tag match. Highlights are shown of the Savage/Poffo vs. Eddie Gilbert/Tommy Gilbert Savage is such a bleeder. This looked like another winner of a match. We end the tape with The Gilberts in a squash.
