Posted February 22, 200817 yr comment_5428426 R&Rs win the world tag titles immediately upon entering JCP (was this their first match in the territory, or at least their first TV match?) in a 30+ minute match. As you'd expect, this is great tag team wrestling with a hot crowd, an easy nomination.

July 21, 201411 yr comment_5613773 This is a high end nomination. This was just fantastic. Ivan is so great in shining up the Rock N Roll, and when it's time to sell the faces give back 100%. Gibson sells and sells and sells. The crowd is hot. Both teams look like they've been in a fight. This was quite the match.
October 1, 201410 yr comment_5630404 NWA World Tag Titles: "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & Krusher Khruschev © vs. The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) (7/9/85) This isn't the first RnR match actually as they worked the MACW taping earlier that night but this was their first World Wide match and the whole show was dedicated to this match which was extremely rare and amazing that a newcomer would get a title shot immediately. The match itself was fantastic and a tremendous way to get RnR over which on this night being their 1st night the fans were already molten hot for them. Slam dunk nomination.
