Posted February 23, 200817 yr comment_5428440 Eddie Marlin asks Jeff Jarrett what his toughest match was and it was him as a referee getting his ass kicked by Dundee & Landell so they booked a match for Jeff against Landell. CWA Tag Titles: Jed Grundy & Scott Steiner © vs. Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden (2/25/89) Well the reign didn’t last long as Fuller would whack Steiner with the kendo stick as Jerry Calhoun was stuck with Jed and Golden got the cover for the win. Eddie Marlin then visits Robert Fuller on his property as he holds a shotgun and asks Robert what his toughest match was and he said it was against his brother Ron. Robert comes out whining about the possible match but says that he would beat his brother. Lance gets Ron on the phone and Robert comes out to talk to him saying that he better hope his plane crashes before their match then hangs up on him. Samurai (Shinya Hashimoto) & Shogun (Shinji Sasazaki) vs. Chris Frazier & David Johnson (2/25/89) Squash. The Mason-Dixon Connection (John Paul & Tracy Smothers) vs. The Blue Knight & Ready (2/25/89) Squash. Ricky Morton talks about his toughest match and brings up Phil Hickerson wanting a match and they get into it at the desk. Marlin then asks Bill Dundee and he says his toughest match was against Dutch Mantell in a no rope bullwhip match. “Superstar” Bill Dundee vs. Frankie “The Thumper” Lancaster (2/25/89) Dundee looks good until Dutch runs in for the DQ. Lancaster gets pissed at Dutch for costing him the match and shoves him a couple of times. Marlin then comes out and says that his toughest match was against Tommy Gilbert so that match was made as well. “Dirty” Dutch Mantell & Master of Pain (The Undertaker) vs. Brian Lee & Jungle Jim McPherson (2/25/89) Squash. Dave Brown gives a tribute to Lance Russell after he has left for the NWA. Ronnie P. Gossett then makes his debut replacing Lance. (3/4/89) The Mason-Dixon Connection (John Paul & Tracy Smothers) vs. Keith Eric & The Hangman (3/4/89) Squash. Gossett gives them cards after the match saying that need help wrestling. “Dirty” Dutch Mantell & Master of Pain (The Undertaker) vs. Chris Frazier & Alan Reynolds (3/4/89) Squash. Jeff Jarrett vs. Frankie “The Thumper” Lancaster (3/4/89) Pretty good competitive match with Thumper getting a good chunk of offense but a DQ finish as Dutch runs in again on a Lancaster match. Frankie helps Dutch this time though but Jarrett sneaks out. Action Jackson vs. Alan Reynolds (3/4/89) Squash. The Wrestling Machines vs. The Medics (3/4/89) Machines are masked guys all in white. Gossett interviews Lawler and this is great as Gossett ends up with egg on his face. Definite extra material. PY Chu-Hi (Phil Hickerson), Samurai (Shinya Hashimoto), & Shogun (Shinji Sasazaki) vs. Jed Grundy, Brian Lee, & Jungle Jim McPherson (3/4/89) The Japanese contingency wins a competitive match.
