Jeff looks awesome here taking it to Dutch but that would change with a short-arm lariat. Fuller goes after Jeff as he is on the floor but Jarrett takes care of him and comes back hitting a flying cross body block off the top rope to win the title. Jarrett then nails Fuller with the belt as the babyfaces celebrate with him. This goes on the block for sure. Action Jackson & Master of Pain (Undertaker) vs. Chris Frazier & Freezer Thompson (3/11/89) Squash. Fuller & Dutch come back out and a bloody Fuller places a $20,000 bounty on Jeff Jarrett’s head. PY Chu-Hi (Phil Hickerson) vs. Frankie “The Thumper” Lancaster (3/11/89) Frankie is a face now after Tojo attacked him over the last week. Tojo gets involved here as well using the kendo stick for the DQ then Frankie gets his ass kicked by Samurai & Shogun until Mason-Dixon Connection makes the save. Tojo and his crew then does an interview with Gossett and this is hilarious. Samurai (Shinya Hashimoto) & Shogun (Shinji Sasazaki) vs. Chris Frazier & Jungle Jim McPherson (3/11/89) Squash that ends with another brawl with the Mason-Dixon Connection, PY, & Lancaster. Fuller & Dutch come out with Jeff Jarrett bounty posters that Sylvia hands out to the crowd then introduces Action Jackson as the newest member of the Stud Stable. Next we get a Mason-Dixon Connection video then a promo. The Mason-Dixon Connection (John Paul & Tracy Smothers) vs. The Delta Force (Colonel Claymore & Sergeant Brock) (3/18/89) Squash. Action Jackson & Robert Fuller vs. Randy Greenway & Mike Hart (3/18/89) Squash. Fuller then comes out trying to bribe Jed Grundy to take up the bounty on Jarrett but doesn’t give an answer. Bounty Match: Jeff Jarrett vs. Brodie Chase (3/18/89) Brodie gets offense but Jarrett finishes him easily. Grundy jumps in the ring after the match takes off the ring that Robert Fuller gave him and gives it to Jeff but Jarrett tells him to keep it much to the chagrin of Fuller. The Studs then beat on Chase for losing but Grundy makes the save then gets overpowered but Jarrett comes back and cleans house. Jarrett then gets overpowered until the Mason-Dixon Connection makes the save. Fun stuff. Lawler shows up fresh from Japan demanding a match against Master of Pain. Frankie “The Thumper” Lancaster vs. The Shadow (3/18/89) Tojo’s crew jumps Lancaster for the DQ but Frankie eases out of the ring. PY Chu-Hi (Phil Hickerson), Samurai (Shinya Hashimoto), & Shogun (Shinji Sasazaki) vs. Frankie “The Thumper” Lancaster, Brian Lee, & Jim McPherson (3/18/89) Match goes to a TV draw.
July 30, 200817 yr comment_5433398 This DVD also has the first half of an FNN/Score show which cuts off in the middle of a fun Lawler/Dundee v. Idol/Rich scaffold match. Do we have the second half of that anywhere?
