Whoever he is, he delivered a NICE superkick to Jumbo’s jaw. Of course, it only stuns Jumbo but it got a nice “Oooh” from the crowd. He delivered a nice roundhouse to Yatsu as well. This match didn’t last long as Jumbo took TNT out with a backdrop driver. Even though it isn’t nomination worthy, it did make me want to see more of TNT. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka vs. Stan Hansen & Terry Gordy (11/22/87) (20:52) - I think I would have to include this on a Hansen comp for the history alone. Early on, the environment was hot. Sweet sequence as Brody and Hansen squared off and neither one could execute a move because the other would dodge, move or escape. Brody missed a big boot, only for Hansen to follow by missing a lariat. Really cool stuff. The Snuka-Gordy stuff is decent and keeps the action moving. Initially, I thought Snuka and Brody would be horrible but they really kept pace and made this into a fun tag match and a mid-level nomination. The ending kinda sucked but I am used to that by now in All Japan matches. Genichiro Tenryu & Ashura Hara vs. Abdullah the Butcher & TNT (12/2/87) - I thought the Jumbo match was better and that one didn’t make the cut. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka vs. Giant Baba & Hiroshi Wajima (12/10/87) - All the goodwill I had for the Hansen-Gordy tag stays with that tag. This is where we get bad Snuka and no-selling Brody and over the hill Baba. Wajima takes the fall after a flying knee drop from Brody.

The fans are hot and heavy for Abby being back here and he is loving every minute of it. TNT takes the punishment here for his team with Jumbo & Yatsu starting to get some chemistry and eats a backdrop driver for the finish. Abby & Baba have a confrontation after the match and this was fun while it lasted. This should be extra material. Real World Tag League: Bruiser Brody & "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka vs. Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy & Stan "The Lariat" Hansen (11/22/87) Brody's back home as well along with Snuka and Korakuen is apeshit for this battle with Brody & Hansen on opposite sides. This place is nuclear when Brody & Hansen start the match against each other not doing much but it was fantastic. Next we get fucking Gordy & Snuka and I'm marking out for this one since Gordy & Snuka was one of my favorite teams of the early 80's and Korakuen is still molten. This is nothing but a brawl as all four men tag in and out of the ring quickly with the action going at a fast pace. Snuka would eventually get worked over before making the hot tag to Brody who would battle it out with Hansen before taking it to the floor where all four men then got into it. Gordy gets back in the ring then tries to pull Hansen in but Brody & Snuka would come over for a tug of war ending up with everyone being counted out. This was a creative way for the double countout and this whole spectacle was great and moves forward very easily. Real World Tag League: Revolution (Ashura Hara & Genichiro Tenryu) vs. Abdullah the Butcher & TNT (12/2/87) We get the normal Abby schtick with TNT taking the punishment but Abby does some bumping here as well as Tenryu gets a bodyslam on him. Hara hits maybe the worst powerbomb ever on TNT here as he just lays him on the mat softly. Tenryu would fire back with one of his own though that was better to get the win. This wasn't really good. Real World Tag League: Giant Baba & Hiroshi Wajima vs. Bruiser Brody & "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka (12/10/87) This was fun when Baba & Brody were in there and Wajima did a clean job to Brody after a King Kong Kneedrop off the middle rope.
