Rude just takes Brown's head off with a clothesline.The heels take control real early. Brown is put in FIP right off the back. Brown gets the hot tag to Lawler. Lawler nails Rude with a belly to back suplex for the pin. That finish shocked me because Lance Russell was teasing the expiration of time was about to expire. He was teasing the expiration of time. This was a lot of fun, just not enough time though. Just I'm going to go with a no on the nomination front. The promotion is pushing the Rude is a woman beater angle hard. New Generation video. This had a homo erotic edge to it. The wrestlers make think this would be how Bo and Luke Duke were gay. This needs to be an extra. Lawler vs. Neidhardt This opens with Anvil throwing the King around. Lawler responds in kind. The guys are doing mirror spots with one another. Nice football tackle from the Anvil. Lawler is great at selling the beating that Anvil is giving him. The crowd is hot for this. Lawler starts a comeback, but gets cut off. I liked the finish where Lawler cheats to win. An unprotected chair shot for the Anvil. This was good and a low end nomination on my part. I'm liking the Anvil as a character, but the Oakland Raider mentions are getting old. Lawler/Mantell vs The PyT's This is an expiration of time match. Ware nailed Lawler with a punch. That was a thing of beauty. Lawler returns the favor and KoKo takes a big bump over the top. Mantell gets pinned to end the 1st fall. The heels start beating on Mantell to start the 2nd fall. Koko and Austin are looking great as a team here with the quick tags. Mantell gets the hot tag and the strap comes down. Lawler gets the pin on Austin with a great 2nd rope fist drop where Lawler had to go half way across the ring. This was solid but not a nomination. This was a great disk. It had great angles,good promos, and solid wrestling.
