All Japan Women Classics 1 + 2

Classics 1

Jumbo Miyamoto vs. Mach Fumiake - WWWA Title (3/19/75)

Maki Ueda vs. Jumbo Miyamoto - WWWA Title (11/1/76)

Beauty Pair (Jackie Sato/Maki Ueda) vs. Yumi Ikeshita/Shinobu Aso - WWWA Tag Team Titles (12/8/76)

- 70s stuff

Jackie Sato vs. Monster Ripper (Rhonda Singh) - WWWA Title (3/15/80)

- This only lasted about 5-6 minutes before Sato was counted out.

Classics 2

Jaguar Yokota vs. La Galactica - WWA Title & Yokota's Hair vs. La Galactica's mask match (Complete match from 5/7/83)

- Early on, this reminds me of a Lucha match with the sweet counters and chain wrestling. Galactica relies on roughing Jaguar up on the outside throwing her into the ringpost and the chairs. When she tried it later in the match, Jaguar turned the tables on Galactica. Good stuff. Despite continued interference from the outside, Yokota maintains the advantage but I have no idea why the outside interference was allowed to continue. What am I missing? Is this a NO DQ match? I think this would have been just fine if it was Galactica doing the cheating and not Monster Ripper overwhelming the match. If we have a Joshi extras disc, I think the haircut can become an extra but I vote no on the match.

Backstage interview w/ Jaguar Yokota.
