Bobby Eaton comes out with his newly won Mid-America Heavyweight Title saying that he is challenging anyone that wants a shot at the title and that he is a new man. Eaton says that he would defend the title on TV for all the retards, rejects, & shut-ins that won’t pay to see him wrestle. Dutch comes out and challenges Eaton but Eaton is defending against Steve Keirn so Dutch shoves him. Keirn comes down to stop this because he doesn’t want his title shot taken away. Eaton is awesome here provoking both men (7/17/82)

2 out of 3 falls for the Mid-America Heavyweight Title: “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton vs. Steve Keirn (7/17/82)

Eaton is awesome here dishing out great offense and talking mega shit to Keirn as he is doing it. Eaton would miss a big diving elbow smash off the middle rope and Keirn would get the pin to win the 1st fall after getting the hell beat out of him. The 2nd fall starts with Eaton going back to dominating Keirn throwing some fucking great punches while still talking shit. Keirn would make a comeback using bodyslams but Eaton would catch Keirn with a powerslam as he was running the ropes to tie up the match at 1-1. There wouldn’t be a 3rd fall so this ended in a draw and a definite nomination.

Mid-America Heavyweight Title: “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton © vs. “Superstar” Bill Dundee (7/24/82)

Eaton cuts another great promo before the match but Dutch comes out swinging Shoebaby demanding a match with Eaton. Dundee asks Dutch to settle down and to sit at ringside so he can counter Hart. Dundee takes it Eaton early as Dutch does his job keeping Hart in check and distracting Eaton. Dundee & Eaton would clash heads giving Eaton a chance to get the advantage but Dundee still maintains control as Hart whines on the floor. Dundee would miss a diving body press off the middle rope giving Eaton the chance he needed to gain the advantage. Eaton just works over Dundee serious while talking shit to Dutch on the floor then hits his powerslam on Dundee that he used on Keirn the previous week but Dundee kicked out. Eaton goes nuts on Dundee choking him but Dundee would kick him in the gut to get the advantage back. Hart would trip up Dundee though as he ran the ropes leading to Dutch attacking Hart as Eaton goes back to work on Dundee. Dundee would get Eaton in an inside cradle though for a nearfall as Dutch keeps Hart in his chair. Dutch would trip up Eaton as he ran the ropes with Dundee hitting a splash to follow for another nearfall. Eaton would throw Dundee into the ropes so hard it broke the second rope ala Sam Houston Coliseum but that didn’t effect these guys as Eaton just kept pounding on Dundee. Eaton would try another powerslam on Dundee but Dundee’s momentum took him to the mat and got the pinfall to win the title. Dundee & Dutch then pound on Eaton after the match until Sugar jumps in to make the save before King Cobra goes after Eaton. Dundee is juicing as everyone else is fighting which stops as soon as Dutch breaks out Shoebaby. This is a slam dunk nomination.

Jimmy Hart introduces the newest member of the First Family in Carl Fergie as he has been abused by Lawler since he is his cousin. (8/14/82)

NWA World Heavyweight Title: “Nature Boy” Ric Flair © vs. Jerry “The King” Lawler (8/14/82)

This whole thing from the promos, match, and aftermath makes this a surefire slam dunk nomination.

Dutch comes out wanting a shot at Dundee’s Mid-America Heavyweight Title saying that Dundee owes him for helping him win the title and of course this ends up being a wild brawl. (8/14/82)

Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Kamala (8/28/82)

Jimmy Hart brings out his newest charge Kamala promising him watermelon & women. Dutch is supposed to wrestle Kamala but comes out saying that he won’t wrestle Kamala because no titles are on the line. Lawler then comes out for a great politically incorrect promo then takes Dutch’s place but it turns out being a wild brawl with Eaton/Sugar/Keirn/Taylor and this whole thing is a definite extra.

They show highlights of Eaton/Sugar vs. Keirn/Taylor from MSC on 8/23/82.

Jim Cornette comes out and invites Bill Dundee to join his stable but that goes nowhere. Lawler then comes out for more hilarity. All the early Cornette should be extra material. (9/4/82)

They show highlights of Keirn/Taylor winning the Southern Tag Titles from Eaton/Sugar from MSC on 8/30/82.

Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Dream Machine (9/4/82)

Dream is getting ready for his new gimmick as one of the New York Dolls. Dream takes control early by sending Lawler to the floor and posting him then taking it back to the ring for more punishment. Lawler makes his comeback but Jimmy Hart would trip him up and Dream would pin Lawler for a nearfall as Lawler got his foot on the ropes. Dream would celebrate and got cradled by Lawler for the win.

Cornette comes out saying that he placed a bounty on Dundee & Lawler’s heads and that the Super Destroyer is coming to collect which brings out Lawler to chase him off. (9/11/82)

Bobby Eaton vs. Steve Keirn (2/3 Falls) (7/17/82)

- The first fall has each man working the headlock while geting spurts of offense in. Eaton did show a nice mean streak choking and abusing Keirn inlcuding a vicious looking knee drop. Eaton took a better bump from the 2nd rope than most people do from the top rope. The 2nd fall was really a squash and it was all Eaton. With the first fall, this is forgivable but as a single fall, there was really no story except Keirj getting his ass kicked. The non-finish was rather disappointing and I don't know if I can give this a nomination. I am on the fence leaning no.

Bobby Eaton vs. Bill Dundee (7/24/82)

- You appreciate this match more after watching the Keirn match from the week before. You can see Eaton getting visibly upset after things that woked the wek before did not work in this match. You also see him not make the same mistakes such as the missed elbow. This week, it is Dundee who misses the elbow. When the ropes break, Eaton at least acknowlledges the error and uses the collapsed ropes to choke Dundee. I think the cross-body ending was a little anti-climactic and they probably went home early because of the ropes. I enjoyed his more than the Keirn match si it gets the nomination but I did not enjoy this as much as Kris.

Ric Flair vs. Jerry Lawler (8/14/82)

- Kris said it. The whole thing goes on.

Bill Dundee-Dutch Mantel Confrontation

- If Dundee-Eaton ends up on the set, I can see this as an extra. You know, maybe I missed it but I don't remember a singles Dundee-Mantel matchup being nominated.

Kamala & Hart-Lawler Confrontation

- EXTRA!!!! This was insane.

Tag Match Highlights

Cornette-Dundee-Lawler Segment

-Extra!

Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Dream Machine (9/4/82)

- I enjoyed this match but the abrupt ending really killed it. However, I enjoyed them punching each other in the face. I also did not expect Dream Machine to get in so much offense. Still, not quite enough for a nomination.

Cornette-Lawler Confrontation

- Possible Extra
