2 out of 3 falls for the Mid-America Heavyweight Title: “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton vs. Steve Keirn (7/17/82)

Eaton is awesome here dishing out great offense and talking mega shit to Keirn as he is doing it. Eaton would miss a big diving elbow smash off the middle rope and Keirn would get the pin to win the 1st fall after getting the hell beat out of him. The 2nd fall starts with Eaton going back to dominating Keirn throwing some fucking great punches while still talking shit. Keirn would make a comeback using bodyslams but Eaton would catch Keirn with a powerslam as he was running the ropes to tie up the match at 1-1. There wouldn’t be a 3rd fall so this ended in a draw and a definite nomination.

Bobby Eaton vs. Steve Keirn (2/3 Falls) (7/17/82)

- The first fall has each man working the headlock while geting spurts of offense in. Eaton did show a nice mean streak choking and abusing Keirn inlcuding a vicious looking knee drop. Eaton took a better bump from the 2nd rope than most people do from the top rope. The 2nd fall was really a squash and it was all Eaton. With the first fall, this is forgivable but as a single fall, there was really no story except Keirj getting his ass kicked. The non-finish was rather disappointing and I don't know if I can give this a nomination. I am on the fence leaning no.
