They show highlights of Keirn/Taylor vs. Eaton/Sugar from MSC on 9/6/82.

Bobby Eaton & Sweet Brown Sugar vs. Aaron Holt & Ira Reese (10/9/82)

The Sheepherders (Jonathan Boyd & Luke Williams) come out before the match wanting Eaton & Sugar but they end up destroying the jobbers instead. Eddie Marlin comes out to try and stop the Sheeps but they beat on him instead. Hart and crew are doing running commentary for this and it’s fucking hilarious.

They show highlights of Bockwinkel/Lawler from MSC on 11/8/82.

2 out of 3 falls: The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) vs. The New York Dolls (Dream Machine & Rick McGraw) (11/13/82)

This starts out with some good action between both teams but Hart would pop Keirn with a cane and bloodied him changing the pace of the match as the Dolls took the advantage. Hart would then hold up a chair for Keirn to be slammed into but it was reversed and McGraw hit it instead which bloodied him. Both men got hot tags leading to a 4-way brawl. Lane just pounds on Dream on the floor as Keirn bites on McGraw with Jerry Calhoun counting both teams out to end the 1st fall. They pick up the action fast & furious as soon as the 2nd fall starts as it’s basically a 4-way brawl with the blood still flowing. The match would go back to the floor again with Hart banging Keirn with his cane for the DQ. Great brawling but a crappy finish makes this not a nomination for me.

Terry Taylor cuts a promo about how he is going to be the one to beat Sabu for the Southern Heavyweight Title. (11/27/82)

Next we have one of the greatest things ever in Memphis in the video of the debut of the Apocalypse (11/27/82)

2 out of 3 falls: “Superstar” Bill Dundee & Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. “Exotic” Adrian Street & Apocalypse (Mike Boyette) (11/27/82)

This is awesome as Adrian is on fire doing his schtick and Lawler/Dundee are having a great time with it especially Lawler who starts dancing around like Adrian but it still doesn’t stop them from beating up on Adrian. Apocalypse would turn the tide beating on Dundee which brought in Lawler for a 4-way brawl that ended in a DQ when Dundee brought in Cornette and popped him to end the 1st fall. Dundee and Street would start the second fall with some good action and Street getting a cradle on Dundee after a kiss on the mouth to win the 2nd fall. Dundee was highly pissed at being kissed by Street so this led to them starting the 3rd fall but Street would tag out very soon. Lawler took quite the beating in the 3rd fall before dropping the strap and just pounding on Street as Dundee drops to the floor kissing on Miss Linda distracting Street who gets cradled by Lawler. This was a long match that had everything and warrants a nomination.

Next we have a sad moment for me in the beginning of the breakup of Eaton & Sugar and I shed a tear watching this. (1/15/83)

They show highlights of Bockwinkel/Lawler from MSC on 1/10/83 featuring the return of Andy Kaufman. This is a definite extra.

“Superstar” Bill Dundee & Terry Taylor vs. “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton & Sweet Brown Sugar (1/15/83)

It’s business as usual as Eaton & Sugar still look great as team even with the dissention and there is some damn good action with the highlight being Eaton murdering Taylor with a powerslam for a nearfall. Sugar would accidentally dropkick Eaton off the top rope costing them the match and the breakup is finalized after the match with Hart wanting Sugar to shine his boots that doesn’t happen.

Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Sabu (Cocoa Samoa) (1/15/83)

Lawler just beats the holy hell out of Sabu here both in and out of the ring then Eaton shows up for his own beating and he bumps all over the place. Lawler is insane here beating everyone up in sight using some awesome punches. Sabu would attack Lawler with his studded collar letting him & Eaton beat his ass then the other babyfaces who wanted to jump in. Then they attack Eddie Marlin but Sweet Brown Sugar would turn babyface and made the save using some awesome dropkicks. The whole Sugar turn is a must have extra.

Southern Heavyweight Title: Terry Taylor © vs. Jacques Rougeau (2/19/83)

Jacques has turned heel here and has been feuding with Taylor for the past few weeks. Rougeau works rough here using a chain to bust up Taylor then bites on the cut. Dutch Mantell shows up to tell Jerry Calhoun that Rougeau has a chain so Jacques pops Dutch but that gives Taylor the opportunity to use the O’Connor Roll to get the pinfall. Rougeau then pounds on Dutch after the match leaving him laying.

The Sheepherders (Jonathan Boyd & Luke Williams) vs. Phillip Rougeau & Robert Reed (2/19/83)

Total squash. The Sheeps then destroy Steve O’s suit after the match as he was trying to interview them. Dundee comes out to make the save.

They show highlights of the wild brawl between Jackie Fargo/Stan Lane vs. Moondogs at MSC on 5/9/83. If we don’t have this complete then this is a slam dunk extra especially with the Hart promo afterwards.

Hart comes out showing the various music videos for the Memphis crew and says that nothing compares to his Bruise Brothers video and that is the truth. This is a definite extra. (5/21/83)

Keirn/Taylor vs. Eaton/Sugar from MSC on 9/6/82

- Way too much clipped off this to nominate even though there was some great stuff in there.

Bobby Eaton & Sweet Brown Sugar vs. Aaron Holt & Ira Reese (10/9/82)

- Possible Extra

Bockwinkel/Lawler Highlights (MSC 11/8/82)

- I haven't seen any Lawler-Bock matches nominated. Do we have any complete matches from this early feud?

Fabulous Ones vs. The New York Dolls (2/3 Falls) (11/13/82)

- Fist fall starts off rather normal with neither team doing anything to gain a real advantage. Once Hart hits Keirn with a cane, Steve does his FIP which is pretty damn good in Memphis. The chair shot from Hart initially looked a little awkward but after a slow motion replay, Keirn actually slammed him into the chair which was way cool. The brawl on the floor made up for the non-finish of the first fall and what started out as a nice little tag ends up a pretty rowdy brawl with MccGraw even getting hip-tossed on the concrete. For the 2nd fall, since Keirn was the legal man, he took most of the abuse to begin with. The DQ ending was weak but this was fun as hell. I think this deserves a nomination.

Terry Taylor Promo

- Zzzzz

Terry Taylor Muisc Video

The Apocalypse Debut Video (Extra)

Bill Dundee & Jerry Lawler vs. Adrian Street & Apocalypse (2/3 Falls) (11/27/82)

Bobby Eaton-Sweet Brown Sugar Confrontation

-Possible Extra leading into the breakup.

Bockwinkel/Lawler Highlights (MSC 1/10/83)

- Will include in the Lawler-Kaufman feud.

Kaufman & Hart Interview

Bill Dundee & Terry Taylor vs. “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton & Sweet Brown Sugar (1/15/83)

- Match was rather short and the angle overshadows the whole thing. The angle and match may play as part of the bigger angle in the EXTRAS.

Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Sabu (1/15/83)

- More of the Eaton-Sugar angle. EXTRA.

Terry Taylor vs. Jacques Rougeau (2/19/83)

- Short match here with the focus on Jacques using the chain to bust open Taylor and abuse Mantel.

Jonathan Boyd & Luke Williams vs. Phillip Rougeau & Robert Reed (2/19/83)

- Squash

Jackie Fargo/Stan Lane vs. Moondogs Highlights
