Posted February 25, 200817 yr comment_5428619 Emilio Charles + Fabuloso Blondy + Pirata Morgan v. El Dandy + Atlantis + El Faron 7/89 This is mainly a set up for the Dandy v. Charles hair match, and what a set up it is, it starts with some very cool wrestling exchanges between Dandy and Charles, and Atlantis and Morgan, and then breaks out into a crazy brawl with both Charles and Dandy beating the shit out of each other and bleeding. During this Atlantis hits an insane Asai moonsault. Faron and Blondy stay out of the way. Emilio Charles v. El Dandy Hair v. Hair 7/28/89 As good as you would hope this would be. Violence, blood, insane dives, punches to the face, blood, blood. Dandy hits maybe the greatest tope I have ever seen, and they just murder each other. This is as good as the best Mid-South brawls, and it isn't even the best lucha brawl on this set. Slam Dunk Blue Panther + Emilio Charles + Hombre Bala v. Blue Demon + Javier Cruz + Hombre Sin Nombre 8/89 This is a great example of your traditional lucha trios match. Mat work opening, with a long awesome Panther v. Demon section, and a really great Nombre (Mascara Sagrada) Charles mat section with Nombre constantly doing amateur reversals of every escape Charles tried. Rudo beat down second fall was fine, and your big third fall had all the armdrags and bumps and dives you want from something like this. MS1 + Maskare v. El Dandy + El Satanico 8/89 Four really good lucha brawlers, brawling. Pales a little in comparison to the epic Dandy v. Charles match, but pretty great stuff. Satanico bleeds a bucket, and the finish is one of the more awesome low blow finishes I have seen. Low endish, but a nomination none the less

El Dandy + Atlantis + El Faron 7/89 Charles and El Dany match up, Morgan and Atlantis match up and El Faron and Blondy match up. All the stuf from first two pairings is good but the less said about the last pairing the better. fabulous Blondy appears to loose the first fall by just deciding to lay on back and eat a pin. Still all the other match ups were off the hook. Emilio Charles v. El Dandy Hair v. Hair 7/28/89 This was Holy shit great. I think dandy was attacked before match as he's nursing his leg before opening bell. ALl Japan count out finish leading to double head shave is a great finish. Blue Panther's magical ability to do shit with Blue Demon is always neat and their opening mat work is really tight. The Emilio charles v Mascara Sagrada mat section is super simple but really awesome and effective. Really big third fall and for match on paper with technico team of Javier Cruz and two guys along for ride... the two guys get rid hard and shockingly understated Javier Cruz. MS1 + Maskare v. El Dandy + El Satanico 8/89 Given who all was involved this was dissapointing. good but dissapoiinting. VQ is also really bad. The elaborate low blow finish was super.
February 28, 200817 yr Author comment_5428790 Also on this DVD Super Astro + Atlantis + Faron v. Fuerza Guerrera + Blue Panther + Emilio Charles 8/89? Really fun opening caida with some great Fuerza v. Atlantis and Panther v. Astro sections. 2nd and 3rd falls are more brawling with Faron looking especailly great, including taking a posting on his throat. Finish is awesome with Astro hitting an amazing back tope into the third row of the audiance onto Panther.
