AJW handheld:

Kyoko Aso vs. Kanako Nagatomo - This handheld is poorly shot, with many frames featuring just the wrestlers' asses.

Yumi Ogura vs. Mika Komatsu

Jumbo Hori vs. Crane Yu

January 1987 TV:

Chigusa sings

Dump Matsumoto, Kaoru Kage & Megumi Nakamae vs. JB Angels & Yukon Erica – Dump rocked the jagged mohawk and swastika on her forehead here. She unleashed a pretty good pre-match freakout, and the JB Angels were plucky enough. But this never built into much. It could fit into an extras disc montage of crazy Dump moments, I suppose.

12 Km rookies marathon (see who can you spot) - Could be an extra to show how damn weird AJW could be.

Bull Nakano & Condor Saito vs. Yumiko Hotta & Hisako Uno - This was worked around repeated misses of big moves. It also included some nasty work on the fingers by Bull. But it featured the ever-popular countout ending and wasn't really much of a match.

Yukari Omori vs. Pantera Sureña - This was slow, sloppy and ended in a countout.

Crush Girls vs. Yumi Ogura & Kazue Nagahori - This wasn't as good as the sum of the parts. All four wrestlers, Chigusa especially, showed off state-of-the-art moves. The crowd was hot. The pace was quick. It should've been a fun match. But the structuring sucked. Ogura and Nagahori never established themselves as sufficient threats, a lot of the transitions came out of nowehere and one move never seemed to build to the next. I can't nominate it, though there's good stuff within and I won't be shocked if someone else digs it.

April or March 1987 TV:

Chigusa sings

Yumiko Hotta vs. Chigusa Nagayo - A very solid match. Hotta established her kicks as dangerous weapons early, so Chigusa countered by taking her to the mat. They maintained their intensity throughout, with Hotta never seeming tamed but Chigusa staying a step ahead strategically. I'll throw this one on the pile as a low- to mid-level nomination.

Early 80s TV: Jaguar vs. Peggy Lee - JIP. This looked like it could've been good, but it's only a few minutes.

Handheld: Mimi Hagiwara vs. Princess Victoria - Boring.

Different Handheld:

Noriyo Tateno vs. Elizabeth Chase - Chase screamed so much that it became an unpleasant distraction. Match wasn't great anyway.

Tarantula & Devil Masami vs. Lioness Asuka & Jaguar Yokota (start only) - Hardly any of this made the disc. Shame.
