The crowd didn’t really give a shit but I thought it was pretty neat. Sometimes it is just refreshing to have a change of pace from the typical All Japan matches. You know Mil is older than dirt but the guy really stayed in shape and never seemed to be off his game. Maybe I am off my rocker but I think this at least deserves a second look from you guys. April 22, 201015 yr comment_5449799 This featured some solid grappling and a fairly hot finish with dueling dives and one pissy strike exchange. It definitely exceeded expectations. But nothing leaped out to make me think it has to be on the set. The grappling wasn't that clever, the finishing stretch wasn't that spectacular and the stakes never felt that great. So it fell short of a yes for me.
July 4, 201015 yr comment_5452703 Mil Mascaras vs. Takashi Ishikawa (1/11/86) Mil was slick on the mat here with Ishikawa providing a fine base to work around holding his own with Mil. Ishikawa nearly killing himself with a plancha to the floor on Mil was something to see but give him credit for trying to fly with Mil. This was a nice match but it's not a nomination.
