Posted February 28, 200817 yr comment_5428781 MX vs.Morton/Gilbert This is the condrey/Rose version. Both teams look excellent here. The heels are great at making the faces shine. A huge Belly to back on Morton gives the heels the advantage. The heels work over Morton's back. Morton gets the hot tag to Gilbert. Gilbert comes in strong. A ref distraction gives Norvell Austin the chance to post Gilbert. This allows the MX to work over Gilbert. Minutes have passed, and Eddie's dad comes out and tosses in the towel. This was good, and I want to nominate it, but I just can't. Dundee vs. Super Destroyer The stips for this is that Super Destroyer has to pin Dundee twice in 10 minutes. Dundee got a beating before this started. This isn't a workrate match, but a match that told a good story. This is another match that I'm torn about nominating. I'll pass on it. Speed/Nightmare vs. Dundee/Mantell Man Speed and Nightmare do have some great heel stooge spots.Dundee goes under the ring to get Hart. This is shaping up into a great studio bout. The studio crowd is uber hot. A great angle with Hart,Sugar, and Dream Machine. The wrestlers find a money ledger that proves Hart is stealing. Hart puts a bounty on Stan Lane for causing this trouble. This is an extra for sure. Another great angle with Hart and a cake. I would call it another extra. Lawler/Mantell have a trenedous segment. This should make the extra disk. A great First Family concert. This has to be an extra. Lawler vs. Mantell. Man this is some awesome brawling. Some super punches thrown. What a great match. Mantell just tore into Lawler with a chair.Later in the match Lawler returned the favor. The 2nd rope knee drop from Mantell was wicked. This gets completely out of control. The wrestlers are in the second level of the arena. I think enough is shown for a nomination. Mantell promo leads to a match Lawler vs. Mantell This is from the studio and it's a loser leaves town match. Another amazing fight begins. Lawler throws the most beutiful upper cut. Mantell is hanging over the edge of the ring and does a running punch to him. This is so hate filled. Lawler counters a piledriver on the floor into a backdrop. Lawler follows this up with a chair to the back. Mantell nails Lawler with an awesome piledriver. In mid match Mantell does a face turn, then turns heel a minute later. This was amazing and a slam dunk nomination.
