Posted February 28, 200817 yr comment_5428791 Really fun opening caida with some great Fuerza v. Atlantis and Panther v. Astro sections. 2nd and 3rd falls are more brawling with Faron looking especailly great, including taking a posting on his throat. Finish is awesome with Astro hitting an amazing back tope into the third row of the audiance onto Panther.

August 16, 201312 yr comment_5556572 Atlantis/El Faraon/Super Astro vs. Blue Panther/Emilio Charles Jr./Fuerza Guerrera (8/11/89) Really great matwork to start and I loved that the tecs wanted to get at Emilio with Atlantis & Astro both chasing him into the crowd then you had Emilio wanting his partners to tag back in once in the ring but denying him was fun. The tension was definitely there in the 1st fall and you knew these guys were going to go off and they did as the pace sped up late in the fall with everyone going all out. The stretch run of the 1st fall could've easily been a stretch run of the 3rd fall in other matches. The rudos getting frustrated with Astro and threatening to walk out was fun. Damn I loved the sequence where Atlantis kicked BP over the top rope to the floor then rolled through before catching Fuerza with a right hook sending him flying was great. The rudos would regroup and took over as they won the fall then started to batter the tecnicos around. Atlantis finally had enough and he went off on Emilio sending him to the floor before being followed by the others and this was some wild fighting with Fuerza taking some hard post bumps. The bumping run starts there as everyone then starts pinballing from the ring to the floor highlighted by Astro hitting his big tope reversa on BP sending him 3 rows back. Faraon would submit Fuerza in the ring but BP would get stretchered out. Damn solid match and a fairly easy nomination to me.
