Posted March 1, 200817 yr comment_5428878 This the same DVD as the 5/7/83 Arena Matches except their is one extra match is on this DVD. Lawler vs Eaton This is clipped up and it looks fun. It was kinda sureal to see Lawler out bump Eaton in what was shown. I Lawler is a great bumper, but Eaton may be the best at this ever. Fabs vs. Dream Machine/Eaton This was solid stuff, but just not great. Just seemed a little underwhelming. Sugar/Hart vs. Barr/cornette This was fun. Jesse Barr seemed like a good worker. Stagger Lee vs. Eaton I have thoughts on this match in the matches folder. Fabs vs. Moondogs This was solid. Their was some nice brawling in this. This had to be a 1st match in the big feud. Taylor vs. Dundee My thoughts on this is in the matches folder. RNRoll Express/Taylor/Stagger Lee vs. The Grapplers/Bruise Brothers. This was a lot of fun. It was supercharged and full of action. I'm going to throw this on the block even though it was a little on the short side. Fabs vs. Eaton/Myers/Hart/cornette This was neat.
July 21, 200817 yr comment_5433167 The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton), Stagger Lee, & Terry Taylor vs. The Bruise Brothers (Porkchop Cash & Dream Machine) & The Grapplers (Tony Anthony & Len Denton) (6/6/83) Fun fast paced action to start the match but it would settle down with Morton playing FIP taking punishment from the Family especially from the Bruisers who just pound on him relentlessly. It would soon enough break down into an 8-way brawl ending with Morton getting an O’Connor Roll on Chops. I thought this was a fun match but as far as a nomination, I will go no. Handicap Match: The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) vs. “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, Duke Myers, Jim Cornette, & Jimmy Hart (6/6/83) This is JIP and what you would expect.
