Posted March 3, 200817 yr comment_5428950 Really fun tag, with Fire and Flame laying in a beating, and Nightmares breaking out some cool shit, including a double tope, Ken Wayne goes Bobby Eaton high on a backdrop too, no finish though with Fire and Flame getting into a confrontation with someone at ringside and the Mod Squad coming out and brawling with the Nightmares. Still one of the better studio matches
March 7, 200817 yr comment_5429090 I am not sold on this match yet. The end was just wierd and I have no idea why the match was stopped. The Nightmares continue to impress though and makes me want to pay closer attention to some of that Continental I picked up from Lynch. I will wimp out and go on the fence on this one.
March 8, 200817 yr comment_5429146 This is an expiration of time match. The Nightmares use a ton of hot moves for this time frame. I dug the beginning prtions where the Nightmares would bust out a sudden move for a nearfall. The Nightmares use a double Tope on Fire and Flame. We even get a replay. Man Fire and Flame do a double back drop and Wayne gets some air. Fire and Flame were good at double teaming and working over Wayne. His FIP work was solid. What a shitty hot tag. The match just ends. This was good while it lasted. I'm going to vote no on this for a couple of reasons first was the just horrible hot tag, 2nd was the no finish. Overall, I dug this but it doesn't come across as a nomination for me for the 2 reasons I mentioned. Their was so much good in the match that it's a shame that a couple things just hurt this as a nomination for me.

March 9, 200817 yr Author comment_5429190 Fuck if I know, but every pair of fat masked men was Dirty Rhodes and Don Bass. Assissans, Fire and Flame, Interns

March 9, 200817 yr comment_5429200 They're to Memphis what Jack Victory was to WCW in '89. That's true too.
May 3, 200817 yr comment_5431020 The Nightmares (Danny Davis & Ken Wayne) vs. Fire & Flame (7/12/86) This was really solid with the Nightmares looking great and the heels were solid as well dishing out the pain. Mod Squad came out for the DQ finish but still this was solid enough to go forward.
May 3, 200817 yr comment_5431022 Unfortunately in the New Japan from 84 that goodhlemet sent me and I need to start writting up, Dirty Rhodes is teamed with Duke Myers. Why the fuck wouldn't New Japan shell out for Bass?
