Posted March 3, 200817 yr comment_5428961 The Fabs/Mantell/Steve O vs. Boyd/ Luke Williams/ Jessie Barr/Adrian Street Lane and Williams look great with the lightning quick arm drags. The heels do a good job of beating on Steve O. Luke Williams looks amazing here. This was good. The post match puts it over but I'm not sold on it as a nomination.. To me the MVP of the match was Luke Williams. Boyd looked good as well. Lawler vs Jimmy Hart/Jim cornette. This was great for what it was. I feel it should make it as an extra. Bill Dundee vs. Adrian Street. If Dundee wins he gets Miss Linda and cornette in the ring for 5 minutes. If Dundee loses, Street gets to give him 10 lashes. Dundee throws some wicked looking punches. Street takes some nice bumps. Dundee starts to break out and kick the crap out of Street. This was solid, but the finish blew. The Fabs/Mantell/Steve O vs. Sheepherders/Jesse Barr/Street This was a blast. The wild brawling at the start. It was a great give and take fight for the first 10 minutes or so. All of the wrestlers looked great here. All of the stips added to the drama that was unfolding. Keirn missed a Monkey flip and took a big bump on his neck. This allowed the heels to work over Keirn like a pack of wild dogs. This built to the finish. I loved this match and think it's a nomination. The Fabs vs. The Moondogs This is a stretcher match and it's anything goes. All the wrestlers are in the ring to start. The Fabs are making quick tags working over The Moondogs. Lane brings out a chain in the first few minutes. Lane takes a Moondog bone to the head and is busted open. Moondogs just work over Lane. The Moondogs just work over Lane's wound. I love when Stan busts out the karate. A moondog goes for the splash, but Lane gets his knee's up. Lane makes a hot tag, and Lane just soaked up the heat to the tag. That was awesome. Keirn busts one of the Moondogs open. The Moondogs are choking out Keirn with the riopes. Lane tells the ref to ring the bell because his partner is choking. Keirn goes out on the stretcher. I thought this was a solid brawl and deserves a nomination. Stagger Lee vs. Ace of Spades This is a mask versus mask. Ace of Spades looks great with his stuff. All of his stuff looks snug. That 2nd rope knee drop was brutal looking. This was good while it lasted. It's Tommy Gilbert. Gilbert does do a great 2nd rope kneedrop. Lane/Fargo vs. The Moondogs I discussed this elsewhere and thought it would make a great extra. Though if someone wanted to nominate it I would understand. Fabs vs. Eaton/Duke Myers Jim cornette's hair is at stake. Eaton and Duke with some quick tags. We have the heels in control in the earlier part of the match. Duke is busted open and the Fabs go after the cut. The Fabs punch, bite, kick, and elbow Myer's cut. I'm digging this match because the teams switch roles. The Fabs look like the heels while Duke Myers is the FIP. The ref stops the match. Eddie Marlin restarts the match because of the stip. The Fabs go to cover after high impact moves and Eaton makes at least 4 saves. The Fabs have this neat double team move where one of them get on all 4's while the other Fab runs on his back and delivers a forearm smash to his opponent. Hart interferes and Duke Myers gets the pin. I feel this is a nomination but I'm not going to nominate it. The heels are just killed throughout. Lawler vs. Blackwell Blackwell should be a great opponent for Lawler. He's huge, agile and an awesome bumper for a big man. Their is some slight clipping, but the men work great together. Blackwell sold Lawler's punches great. Lawler does a belly to back suplex to the big man. The pacing in this is quick. Lawler is go great at selling the beating. Blackwell takes some huge bumps in this match. I liked the finish here and it deserves the nomination. Street/cornette/Miss Linda vs. Dundee/calhoun This was some fun stuff.
