Posted March 3, 200817 yr comment_5428980 RNR Express vs. Nightmares (1/13/85) - This started off with some spectacular double teaming. The RNR were firing on all cylanders and the Nightmares were bumping big. The end was pretty hot with Jimmy Hart throwing in a cane to set up a diving headbutt but Morton moves out of the way and gets the pin. This feels more like a mid-level match. I enjoyed the Nightmares- Mod Squad match more as strange as that may sound but I have no problem nominating this. (Lynch 8.3)

March 28, 200817 yr comment_5430142 This was a bunch of fun as Nightmares have a lot of fun heel stooge spots, and nasty offense when they take over. Especially Ken Waynes hogtie faceplant. Rock and Rolls are the Rock and Rolls. Put a smile on my face Arena TV 2/22/85
May 1, 200817 yr comment_5430995 Southern Tag Titles Tournament – Round 1: The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. The Nightmares (Danny Davis & Ken Wayne) (1/14/85) This was a damn good match between two teams that had really good chemistry together and I wished there was a good long feud between them because it would’ve been great stuff. Both teams are really sharp here especially the Nightmares who are great foil team for the RnR and this also had Gibson as the FIP, which I always like as the contrast to the formula. Definitely moves forward.
