Bracero and George Weinegroff Interview Pez Whatley and Rip Rogers vs. El Bracero and George Weinegroff - Pez has a blonde wig on his head. He looks insane. What was shaping up to be possible the first ICW Studio match to be nominated ended inexplicably for a commercial break and never came back on. That sucks. Lanny Poffo vs. Crusher Broomfield - Shit, they only show a clip of what looked like a neat David-Goliath matchup. Does this exist in full anywhere???? Lanny Poffo vs. Jobber - Rolls jobber up in 5 seconds. Big Boy Williams vs. Tony Falk - Match ends with no winner. Ron Garvin Interview (on throwing cake in Watley's face) Lanny Poffo-Rip Rogers Music Video (Eye of the Tiger) (EXTRA) - Really frustrating episode as two potential matches disappeared with no explanation and left me wanting more.
March 27, 200817 yr comment_5430037 Steel Cage Match for the ICW Heavyweight Title – SR: George Weingroff: “Macho Man” Randy Savage © vs. Ronnie Garvin (sometime in 1982 or early 1983) This starts out slow but Garvin would soon start working on Savage and would be the first to use the cage by ramming Savage’s head into it a few times causing him to juice. Garvin continues to pound on Savage using his offensive repetoire to weaken Savage. Savage would start his comeback by throwing Garvin into the cage numerous times causing him to juice as well before starting to unload punches on him. Garvin would come back though and they would start beating the crap out of each other but Savage would miss with his elbow drop off the top rope giving Garvin the chance to capitalize which is what he did as he started back working Savage over and would climb up himself to the top rope where he would land a diving kneedrop but Savage would kick out of the pin. Throughout the match both men would try for the piledriver especially Garvin but each man would fight of it. Garvin would throw Savage into referee George Weingroff then took off his belt where he would use it to punch Savage in the face with then tied him to the top rope by the neck but Savage would get out. Savage then made his comeback but would end up getting backdropped into the cage in a cool spot at that time. Garvin then climbed back up top where he would get crotched and slumped forward so Savage could lock him up in a piledriver for the win in a very cool spot. King Pez Whatley would then attack Savage after the match but brother Lanny Poffo made the save. The Convertible Blondes (Rip Rogers & Pistol Pez Whatley) vs. El Bracero & George Weingroff (no date) Jesus I love the Convertible Blondes gimmick as Pez was fucking ruling it here although him dying his hair blonde would’ve been even better. Lanny does commentary here and is pretty good. Weingroff looked solid here and so did the Blondes, hell Bracero looked good too. The match was going along really fine until we got no finish. “Leaping” Lanny Poffo vs. Crusher Broomfield (One Man Gang) (no date) Macho is on commentary and this was just a clip. “Leaping” Lanny Poffo vs. Jerry Anderson (no date) This ends in 5 seconds with an O’Connor Roll. Tony Falk vs. Big Boy Williams (no date) Match ends in a draw. Next we get a clip of Ronnie Garvin throwing a cake in King Pez Whatley’s face. Then we get a video for Poffo & Rip set to Eye of the Tiger. This is extra material.
