One of the best heels the company had ever seen and couldn't probably still draw killer heat today if he played his character for a one-time only show. Blanchard had a fun 1988-89, but it's nowhere near what DiBiase contributed.

DiBiase was almost always in the top angle or the second from the top angle from 1988-1991, and his house show run with Savage in '88 is good stuff. The twin ref angle he played a part in in '88 that cost Hogan the title is probably the most memorable angle of the 80s, or damn near close. Sorry, Tully.

Ted, just because Tully's WWF run was just a run with the Brainbusters that ended in a coke haze.

I hate Tully Blanchard more than any wrestler ever. Ted DiBiase was one of my favorite wrestlers throughout most of the 80s.

Blanchard and Arn did some cool stuff in the tag team ranks during their stint in the WWF, but there's no comparison. Dibiase was the only guy I've ever seen in the WWF who made his debut and was honestly ready to be a legit part of the title and main event picture.
