Posted March 11, 200817 yr comment_5429335 Big thing on this show was the Don Bass mother angle, which lead to a fun studio brawl with Bass/Fergie v. Dundee/Lawler which we might put on the whole thing as an extra, especially if we are going to put on the backstage MSC brawl between the four and Brickhouse Brown which I think they show on the next show, and I am pretty sure Bix has on his Concession Stand comp. There is also the dance off between Bubba and Rocky Johnson and a decent RPM's v. Nasties match
May 4, 200817 yr comment_5431055 Tracy Smothers vs. Keith Eric (9/19/87) Smothers had the pin but Badd Co. would jump him until Steve Armstrong showed up to make the save as the Southern Boys reunite. Jeff Jarrett & Billy Travis vs. Rough & Ready (9/19/87) Squash. “Soulman” Rocky Johnson vs. Keith Eric (9/19/87) Squash. Don Bass comes out with his “mama” and it ends up in a wild brawl with everyone and this is a fucking definite extra. (9/19/87) “Superstar” Bill Dundee vs. Keith Roberson (9/19/87) Dundee gets jumped after the match by the Commission as revenge from the last segment before Lawler makes the save. Southern Tag Titles: The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Sags) © vs. The Rock n Roll RPM’s (Mike Davis & Tommy Lane) (9/19/87) This was okay and the RPM’s used a chain to win the titles. The Southern Boys (Steve Armstrong & Tracy Smothers) vs. Rough & Ready (9/26/87) Squash. Handicap: Paul Diamond vs. Greg Jones & David Wilson (9/26/87) Tanaka stays on the floor as he says that Paul can handle it himself. Dundee & Lawler cut a great promo on Bass & Fergie begging them to come out. They show up next segment but with the Commission watching their backs so Dundee & Lawler come out with their own weapons in a standoff. (9/26/87) “Superstar” Bill Dundee & Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Keith Eric & Keith Roberson (9/26/87) Squash. Don Bass & King Carl Fergie vs. Ed Mattox & Freezer Thompson (9/26/87) Squash. Next we get clips of Curt Hennig letting people know he is the AWA champ. Nasties then come out for a promo talking about the RPM’s and how they want revenge. Jeff Jarrett vs. The Blue Knight (9/26/87) Squash. Bubba & Rocky Johnson have a danceoff and this is a definite extra. (9/26/87) Big Bubba & The Rock n Roll RPM’s (Mike Davis & Tommy Lane) vs. The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Sags) & Billy Travis (9/26/87) TV time runs out fairly quickly.
