Dynamite Kid/Davey Boy Smith vs. Tiger Mask/Magic Dragon (06/02/85)

- The story here has the Bulldogs getting the advantage of Tiger Mask and he works FIP. After a few minutes of punishment, the Bulldogs try different ways in which to end the mat06/4/85)

Dynamite Kid/Davey Boy Smith vs. Kuniaki Kobayashi/Shinichi Nakano (06/04/85)

- It takes about 15 seconds before the Bulldogs start abusing Nakano. Davey Boy immediately throws him out of the ring and Nakano takes a nasty spill. When DK is tagged in, he gives a painful sounding chop and a stiff forearm. Damn, he is laying in the shots. Both Bulldogs give a beating to the natives. The natives get in a few hope spots to keep it interesting. However, after playing around, the Bulldogs end it again with the superplex.

Road Warriors vs. Takashi Ishikawa/Higo Hamaguchi (5/31/85)

- Squash

Ric Flair vs. Jumbo Tsuruta (NWA Title, 4/24/85)

- Flair-Jumbo is one of those matchups where we really have to watch all of them back to back to see which ones should move forward. I liked this match and will nomiante it but I felt like I had been here before. All of the Flair and Jumbo spots and sequences are here. The big spot here is Flair reversinga suplex and sending Jumbo to the outside. Flair tries to capitalize but Jumbo rams him into the ringpost. As Jumbo tries to make his way in the ring, Flair nearly tears his shorts off. However, both men are counted out and nothing is settled.

The British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith) vs. Magic Dragon & Tiger Mask II (6/2/85)

This was a fun match with the Dogs looking really good and their opponents were solid in their roles.

The British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith) vs. Kuniaki Kobaayshi & Shinichi Nakano (6/4/85)

The Dogs just pound these guys and this is basically a glorified squash match for the most part.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Animal Hamaguchi & Takashi Ishikawa (5/31/85)

Now this was a total squash.

NWA World Heavyweight Title: "Nature Boy" Ric Flair © vs. Jumbo Tsuruta (4/24/85)

Great to see Dick Slater in Flair's corner here. Flair & Jumbo have worked enough against each other by now that they have their own formula match and this is it as you can pretty much telegraph what is going to happen and when. It doesn't really matter though because this is still a damn good match with both men working their ass off. Flair would take a brutal backdrop driver by Jumbo which led to a great stretch run with Flair getting a figure-four and the crowd going nuts then Jumbo getting one of his own before the battle went to the floor where Flair held Jumbo's tights showing his ass to keep him from coming back in the ring for a double countout. This was a really solid match and while it may be the lesser of the series I've seen so far, it's still a nomination.
