Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith (12/7/85) - Tneryu & Jumbo take turns abusing the Dogs and they are laying in some stiff strikes. Pay attention to the double clothesline spot with Jumbo and DK, the impact with both guy's running top speed looks painful. After that, both guys quickly tag to their partners but not before Jumbo and Tenryu give Davey a nice double forearm. HOwever, the Bulldogs would get Tenryu back on the outside when they send him into the guardrail. Inside, it looks like Jumbo was going to put Davey away with the backdrop driver but Davey tags DK while he had Jumbo in the headlock so DK gives Jumbo a nasty headbutt. I am surprised because Jumbo is giving alot to the Dogs when I thought Tenryu would be stuck in that role and Jumbo would be the savior. The natives are bringing the double team moves in this match as they give Davey a double enziguiri. Davey gets the advantage back but you can tell he is blown up becasue he is going back to the chinlock after every big move. Awesome spot as Davey has Jumbo in the chinlock, Tenryu chops him off so Davey puts Tneryu on his shoulders in an airplane spin position. DK jumps on Tenryu's back and gives Jumbo a flying headbutt. Both teams are giving the great double teams. I'll give this a nomination just so you guys can check out the double teaming and the stiff strikes. It may not make the final cut but it was fun as hell. Mil Mascaras vs. Tiger Mask (1/2/86) - Mil does his ground game twisty stuff but it isn't clicking like the earlier matches. It doesn't help that neither guy is showing much emotion in this match. This had some decent spots but it felt disjointed. THe irish whip into the rail at the end was particularly bad. Barry Windham & Mike Rotunda vs. Jumbo Tsuruta & Ricky Fuyuki (1/11/86) - I couldn't get into this one for some reason. Maybe it was Fuyuki as Jumbo's artner. Maybe it was Rotundo's beard. I will admit that Windham was taking sweet bumps off os Jumbo's knees and Ricky's back kick. Windham won after reversing a Fuyuki flying cross body. Stan Hansen vs. Ashura Hara (11/27/85) - Hara was really taking it to Stan here with some pretty good strikes. However, after about 5 minutes, Stan has enough and takes him out with the lariat. Jumbo Tsuruta & Genichiro Tenyru vs. Nikita Koloff & Krusher Kruschev (1/2/86) - This was bearhug and chinlock Russians match. This match could have really used an Ivan Koloff. It also doesn't help that Jumbo was FIP early on and we are used to seeing him make the save unless he is in with Baba. When Tenryu gets in, they treat him like a jobber also. THe problem is their offense isn't that interesting. They end up getting DQed after using the Russian chain.

DK was very fun here going nose-to-nose with the big men here especially against Jumbo with the double lariat spot being a catalyst then you had the DK version of the Liontamer on Tenryu where DK looked like he was about to explode. The spot where DK jumped off Tenryu's back for the diving headbutt on Jumbo was awesome although it would lead to the dreaded double countout. There was some really good action here with both teams working hard and this moves forward. Mil Mascaras vs. Tiger Mask II (1/2/86) This was awkward at times and I wasn't feeling it. Mike Rotundo & Barry Windham vs. Samson Fuyuki & Jumbo Tsuruta (1/11/86) Fuyuki makes his Classics debut here and this is an interesting matchup. Rotundo rocking the beard was classic. I liked Windham a lot here both on offense and selling especially for Jumbo. Fuyuki & Rotundo both stick out a little here but someone has to do the job and Fuyuki is the man for it. Fun while it lasted. Stan "The Lariat" Hansen vs. Ashura Hara (11/27/85) Hara fires off some shots on Hansen but it didn't take long before Hansen just killed him with a lariat. Already seen Tenryu/Jumbo vs. Russians.
