November 1986 TV: Crush Girls sing Lioness Asuka & Jumbo Hori vs. Dump Matsumoto & Crane Yu - This featured the typical Dump weapon spots. They get tiresome. July 1989 TV: Marine Wolves sing AJW Tag Team titles: Dream Orca vs. Honey Wings - The Honey Wings were on offense for most of this, and I never find them that compelling. It did feature one of those weird AJW spots, where a nearfall was broken up by an attack on the referee. The degree of unchecked referee abuse is sort of interesting in general. But I digress. No nomination. Honey Wings and Fire Jets walking around the city Manami Toyota vs. Akira Hokuto - Fun to see the two '90s star matched up before their respective primes. They were clearly a step above most of the vets athletically. This didn't feature any great drama, but I think people would like to see it, so I'll throw it on the block. Honey Wings, Reibun Amada and Miori Kamiya around the city Lioness Asuka sings Fire Jets vs. Noriyo Tateno & Lioness Asuka (2/3 falls) - This featured one of those annoying countout endings AJW was so fond of, and the body wasn't good enough to compensate. Dream Orca and Tokyo Sweethearts around the city December 1987: Devil Masami vs. Pantera Sureña - Not much to it. JB Angels vs. Lioness Asuka & Mitsuko Nishiwaki - I watched it two days ago and barely remember it. Not a good sign. Chigusa sings October 20, 1987 TV: WWWA Tag Team titles: Red Typhoons (Yumi Ogura & Kazue Nagahori) vs. Bull Nakano & Condor Saito - Bull threw some nasty high kicks. Basically, whenever she was in, her team dominated. Whenever Condor entered, things went downhill. Nothing special overall. WWWA title vs. All Pacific title: Chigusa Nagayo vs. Yukari Omori - This had a ton of heat and Nagayo spouted quite a gusher. Solid nomination. Rookies 12 women tag match: Hotta, Yamada, Toyota, Takahashi, Kudo & Hirata vs. Nishiwaki, Kaoru, Mita, Amada, Yoshimura & Kamiya - Kind of fun but that's it. Mika Suzuki vs. Nobuko Kimura - Irrelevant. Retirement 5 minute exhibition: Kyoko Aso vs. Sayuri Nakajima Chigusa sings Devil Masami vs. Mika Komatsu - Squash. Yukari Omori & Red Typhoons vs. Dump Matsumoto, Condor Saito & Kumiko Iwamoto (end cut) - Can't use it without an ending.
