Posted February 17, 200520 yr comment_693701 I posted about this on TSM, but you never know what crosses the line over there and I was hesitant to push the issue. Basically my g/f has an iBook now, but I have the high speed internet on my PC. Where's a good place to download stuff like Office for Mac that I can leech on my PC and burn to CD for her to use?
February 17, 200520 yr comment_700307 I may be mistaken, but I think you are out of luck - Macs and PCs encode data differently (hence, the incompatibilities across platforms), so even if you found something on the 'net to download, you'd have to burn it on a Mac for it to be read by another Mac.

February 18, 200520 yr Author comment_710325 CDs are multiplatform. I can burn a CD and it will be readable on a Mac (as long as it can read CD-Rs).
